purely because if it has been this long since the bid was accepted its not usually good news if he is taking 1-2 weeks to decide to come - which says he is holding out for somewhere else perhaps. im just being realistic
I'm not aware of any transfers out of chelsea having taken place, even of fringe, youth players. So could be just a case of the new Chelsea manager biding his time getting to know the background of his players before deciding who he will let go.
that could be true. It would be just our luck he has a blinder in training for the new boss and then next May picks up a Champs League medal! I don't really think ke's there yet though, so I hope you're correct.
Tom Soares looked a good prospect when he was a youngster at palace a few years back, but didnt cut it in the PL I used to watch his dad (Cliffton) play for Newport (IW) back in the day, he was about the size of Micky Quinn when he retired! nopt a bad centre forward though
My old man is a Stoke season ticket holder, asked him about Soares and he was response was generally good. Stoke signed him up when they were trying to establish in the Premiership and he's never been given a decent run of games but has always done pretty well when he's played, League Cup etc. He said he'd been a good signing for most Championship clubs, can play right of midfield or in the middle. Good energetic midfielder. I wouldn't be surprised to see Soares come in as well as Cork (really hope that comes off). With Soares able to act as cover for Chamberlain on the right as well as be able to play in the middle.
No!!!!!!!!!! Tom Soares is Cliftton Soares son. OMG; I never knew that. I used to play up front with Clifton ..... at Newport.
yep. Played with the "three degrees", if you throw in the left back, Kenny too. Those three were nuts.
We don't know anything. It's most likely that Cork hasn't even had the opportunity to speak to SFC because of his delayed holidaying because of U21 involvement.
What I suspected but wasn't sure. Soares was a great player for Newport, as someone said him and Mr Fearon. For those who don't know (probably most of you) Eurshall Fearon was subbed in one game and the commentator struggled with his name and said: Mr Fearon.
