    Tom Soares will join Southampton from Stoke City for £1million according to The Sun. Can't see it happening though.

    Good player. If we got him and Cork our midfield would be a force to be reckoned with IMO.

    Assuming that your 'information' is correct, I could see this one happening, he is the right age, price, and quality of player that could improve the team and he is currently out of favour at Stoke.

    that would indicate that we're not signing Cork then, I doubt we'd be after 2 midfielders.

    I'd rather have Cork but Soares would still be good under Adkins' stewardship and given game time.

    I only seen Soares play a few times and like the look of him. When I saw him though he was playing up front or wide, so not sure that effects Cork situation (which seems to be dragging with no news)

    Can't remember much about Soares myself. Think he's a midfielder.
