    I agree to be honest.
Its not as if Suarez actually caused any damage, not like he did a Tyson.
At the end of the day I watch football because I enjoy the game. Moral outrage and passing judgements on people is kinda like what happens on Loose Women to be honest.

But we are living in a time where football fans argue over who had the lowest net spend and which club has a better financial outlook, and where people constantly complain about referees rather than just getting on with it. The OK! Magazine generation of football fans....which is a ****ing disgrace.

End of the day, that guy bit that guy, the fall outs funny, I dont personally know either guy, so don't give a ****.

I agree to some degree and didn't get all wound up with the issues around Suarez but to me he had done enough damage to the clubs reputation and it was clear that he would continue to behave like an idiot.

I wasn't questioning Liverpools decision to sell him, if they feel he is impacting on their brand then fair enough, especially when clubs are offering silly money for him, they are a business after all.
Its just all the fan backlash. Suarez is the least of them to be honest, I suppose at least his transgressions took place on the pitch.
**** like Ryan Giggs banging his sister in law, Rooney visiting prozzies, Terry sleeping with an Ex Team mates Ex girlfriend.......all this tabloid sensationalist bullshit that the modern day football fans eat up and spew out on forums.

I questioned an idiot the other day who was bleating on about the injustice done to the Russian people by Roman Abramovich and asked him how much he had cared about Russian injustice prior to Roman purchasing Chelsea....I am willing to bet he cared to the amount of 0, until it impacted football in some way. Faux Outrage makes me outraged......people just need to get a ****ing life. If you feel that morally outraged by someones actions, for real.....then do something about it, but don't bitch to me on a football forum, that will achieve **** all and just make you look like a whiny pussy.

    **** you.

It's nothing to with biting anyway, although how anyone would seriously want to employ a person who habitually does that is beyond me.

It's the fact he racially abused a United player. This is why he will never sign for the club, end of.

Yeah well there were those that felt embarrassed over Suarez actions, not me, I just watch football, otherwise I couldn't give a monkeys if Rooney shags grannies, Giggs does his brother's sister for 8 years or if Maradona did coke or Suarez bit a few players.

Everyone pretending to care and that they are personally offended by such things, given the state of their own lives.. is ****ing hilarious.
Football is not my life though<whistle>

And continues to show absolutely no remorse for it whatsoever.

Giggs and Rooney probably had to crawl over broken glass to convince their wives to forgive them
Cantona accepted his punishment and moved on

Even now, three years later, Suarez is still bleating on about how he didn't do anything and was fitted up. He blames Evra, the FA, Utd, Liverpool, everyone but himself. It's the attitude of a player who will offend again, something borne out by his last two bites and his pathetic attempts to claim the other player had somehow shoved their arms into his mouth.

Can't see Utd ever being interested in signing him tbh, nor any Utd fans ever wanting to cheer him on.

    This x10000000000000
I get sick of it to be honest.
I want to talk football, and people are bleating on about Putin, Grannies, Racial harassment, marital infidelity, dodgy referees and diving.
Have almost quit coming here a few times. But then I get bored at work......lol

    And? This affects you how?

If he feels he did nothing wrong why would he show remorse?
Not saying he didn't do anything wrong, but at the end of the day does it matter? to you personally?
And if he feels he did nothing wrong, showing remorse would just make him look guilty.
Same with Ched Evans, people are saying he isnt showing this or that......thats because he claims he didnt ****ing do it.
How could he claim he didnt do it, then show remorse? That would make no ****ing sense,

As I said - it shows the mentality of the man.

He also denied biting Ivanovic and Chiellini at first. Hence he persistently reoffends, which damages the image of any club who signs him as well as meaning he is always at risk of being banned.

Also the case of Ched Evans is different - he denies raping the girl which is questioning the facts of the situation. Suarez admits the fact that he called Evra a negro, but denies that he did anything wrong which is a case of interpretation.

Ultimately it's a footballing decision - I wouldn't want Utd to sign Suarez as the negative fan reaction, damage to the club's image, plus risk of him getting banned would risk causing more harm than good for the club. Same reason no club will sign Ched Evans.

He's talking about it in the context of the ridiculous suggestion that Suarez could join United.

Your argument holds no water anyway as he admitted using a racially offensive word, he was therefore guilty by his own admission. Plus you're talking about a man who came out with the most ridiculous crock of **** about how his bite on Chiellini was some sort of accident.

The mans a habitual liar, as well as being a hideous snide.

    I hear ya.
I am just saying that people should stop trying to villify players or hold them up as bastions of moral superiority.
Because in the end 9 out of 10 of them are imbeciles.
They are 20 year olds guys being paid more money than a normal person could spend in 3 lifetimes, so naturally they are spoilt, entitled brats, and a lot of them knew since the age of 8 or 9, when scouted by a youth coach that they wanted to be pro footballers, and so put school on the back burner, so most are, lets be honest.....thick as pig ****. There are exceptions (apparantly Lampard has an IQ of 158 or some ****), but mostly they are stupid, rich and young....and thats a lethal combination, especially when the British press, who love airing the dirt, are waiting to pounce on your every slip up.

I tell ya, people complain about red tops like the sun and Mirror etc....but its these same people eating up the sensationalist BS they serve up and vindicating the red tops methods.

Taking issue with a player who racially abused an opponent and thought nothing of biting 3 of them is hardly everyday is it?

Suarez is a **** and the fact I think he's a ****, is nothing to do with any media source, merely my eyesight and own moral compass.

You're confusing 'everyday' male misdemeanors off the pitch, with truly snide behaviour on the pitch which directly affects the game.

What you fail to account for is that in this mess of a world Suarez behaviour benefits him. He's cashed in on his bad boy nature, many do ffs. We now live in a world where "how many know your name" is sufficient, not what you do. There are so many examples of that.

Rooney too, the constant media attention is nt helpful to footballing matters but as a commodity, Rooney benefitted.
Suarez is exactly the same, yes fans bitched with their skewed view on reality whilst forgetting their own misdemeanours.. conveniently and footballing authorities came down on him but lets take a step back to the 2nd bite. ALl of you were all "oh his fee is less, no one will want him ect ect.. he signed for Barca for 75m and is on his highest wages ever (AFTER A 3rd bite)

This shows that many of you are just out of touch with how the world works <laugh>

What Giggs did just shows that he cannot and never be trusted as an individual, not after doing that to his whole family and living a lie for 8 years. It does say a lot about the guy, do I really care, no but it is what it is, the guy is a snake. When found out, he still tried to cover his tracks, so to add to that he is none to bright either. I mean, the guy even attempted to take 30,000 twitter users to court before his lawyer slapped him in the head and said "shut up stupid"

    Exactly this.

But you're false if you think otherwise of course.

Just to clarify to Bodanki, I'm not offended by biting etc. but on a point of principle if I say I'd rather the **** doesn't play for United, it means I'd rather the **** doesn't play for United. Simple as that. One of his major incidents was directly against the club and one of our players. That's why.

    On the pitch - Suarez

    Off the pitch - Giggs

    Make the simple distinction.

What any player does in his private life has **** all to do with anyone, unless it transgresses the law.

I was never embarrassed, I remained out of it and kept my opinion to myself as I didn't feel I knew enough to pass judgement but there just came a point for me where I felt his presence at the club was more damaging than keeping him for his football ability.

my point is we can all have personal opinions, and they can vary, but we won't hold ourselvs to the standards we fraudiently hold others to when we are bleating on line about it. Like I said I don't like Giggs, but that's my personal thing, I find what he did more of an issue than the stupid childish antics of idiot Suarez BUT... I actually don't really give a monkeys either way, I don't know Giggs and don't have to deal with him. I only ever mention Giggs to mancs when they are so morally outraged by Suarez :D

The fake morality scale that is used to deem Suarez worse is <laugh>

You were one oft hose applying this completely false moral narrative including how it would have an effect on his career and that shows you have no clue about how it all works, after that 2nd bite you were adamant that he would suffer, he bites a 3rd time and gets a lengthy ban and what? even more wages more endorsements and the move of his career to play with Messi and Neymar and co <laugh>. Other than the actual ban time it hasn't negatively affected him at all. In fact, many more people now know who he is that otherwise would not have had a clue.

If being a bad boy negatively affected you in todays world, Justin Bieber would be a pauper, spitting on fans ect.. no, the fans he spat on probably still haven't washed their faces<laugh>

Sadly, and I do mean sadly, Suarez has cashed in on being a dick, he's football's nasty nick except Suarez actually has talent.

We live in a world where you can be talentless and make an absolute show of yourself, and if enough people see it and talk about it, you can cash in, and have your own perfume <laugh>
