    Here's one for you THFC6061.

How many European finals have been held at Wembley?

    And

How many European finals have been held in the UK?

[I don't know the answers, just couldn't see anything on your website]

It technically possible for a player to score 3 goals without any other player touching the ball. How is it done?

Yes. It's technically possible though highly unlikely and, to my knowledge, has never happened.

So it must start with an OG.

You score an OG, then from kick off you score directly

    then...... **** knows.

    Tell us Tarquin.

You can't score directly from kick off though, somebody has to touch it first surely?

You're on the right track but you can't score directly from kick off.

The first goal is indeed an og. The player then picks up the ball and takes the kick off himself. Instead of tapping the ball to the side, he does a big up-and-under into the opposing team's penalty area and chases after it. He's fouled in the box before anyone else touches the ball and he's awarded a penalty which he takes himself. The ref then immediately blows for half time and picks up the ball. The third goal is then a repeat of the 2nd goal when the player kicks off the 2nd half.

As I said, highly unlikely but technically possible.

That would need to be some "up and under"

    <yikes>

Yeah. You'd probably need a strong wind to help which also switched to the opposite direction during the half-time break.

That would mean he's only scored two goals though?

No, the first one is an own goal.

Followed by an up and under, penalty, goal then half time.

Then the exact same scenario happening at the other end.

    No.

    First goal own goal
2nd goal from kick off after 1st goal
3rd goal from kick off of 2nd half

Ahhh, I get it now. Was thinking you meant the 3 goals for the same team, but that wouldn't make sense as the other team would get kick off.

It wouldn't have to be that good an up and under, all you need to do is be able to kick the ball in the box from the half line without anybody touching it
