Obviously we have to get something this weekend or teams will jump over us, but we shouldn't panic on a week by week basis. We will still be so close that another weekend would see us restored. The important thing is to be in there...then it is up to us.

Once again, who's panicking, Fran..? You're beginning to remind me of Corporal Jones. :D

Mauricio predicts that 4 teams can fill the third place spot: Spurs, United, Saints or West Ham. Probably right, though I think WHU will fall away. Spurs (despite losing yesterday) have pulled themselves up the table after hitting form. We had a a very strong start which has enabled us to remain near the top and have now hit form again. I think it is between United and us (but then I would, wouldn't I to misquote the late Mandy Rice-Davies).

Matchday!! Come on Saints, a win today will truly put us in dreamland/nosebleed territory! Will be tough but I think it is doable if we defend well n take our chances!

Oh, and keep that ****er Van Persie quiet <grr>

A mate of mine is going to his first ever Man U game today, glory hunter. Will be taking the piss for the next 4 hours...and more if we win.

Edit: PS 1-1 Morgan equaliser second half.

Just had a thought. Do we think that maybe Elia won't be able to play today , what with that sad news about Malanda. If they were good friends at the Wolfsburg then he may not be in the right state of mind.

Edit: Ok he didn't play for Wolfsburg so this point is completely irrelevant ! Thoughts go out to Malanda's friends and family though. RIP.

Would depend how close they were...I know a lot of people I'd be sad about, but only a few that would hit me hard enough to affect me seriously. Toby must know him as well.
