Just saw an interview with Neil, he's harder to understand than Lambert was, but sounds and talks like a man who would be terrifying to piss off.

If there's one thing our squad need it's someone who's not going to listen to bullshit.

I always wondered if players and everyone else could understand Lambert - did they simply pretend to and then think deeply about what they should be doing and implement this - the result was success.

This could be part two who knows!

Due to take charge of team for tomorrow's game, he's gonna be fecking knackered come Sunday with all that travelling ! <laugh>

I agree with Canario as well. It was good to see Neil's comment on this:

"I'm absolutely delighted to have the opportunity to manage a club of the stature of Norwich," Neil told the club's official website. "It's an exciting challenge at a huge club and one that I'm looking forward to. I've watched a lot of Premier League and Championship football over the years and I've always been really impressed with Carrow Road and the Norwich fans and the way they get the place going when they get behind the team. It's a forward-thinking club with a fantastic infrastructure and big ambition, which matches my own ambitions."

Chief executive David McNally added: "We're delighted that Alex has agreed to become Norwich City's new manager and we hope he's here for a long time. It was important for us to have somebody who had the drive, ambition and commitment to work as hard as it takes to take the club forward. Lots of names were under consideration, but for us, as the Board of Norwich City Football Club, he was the unanimous choice and the first choice."

Supers, I understand your scepticism, I really do. But I can personally vouch for Guru's honesty. There is no way the he would say anything so obviously hypocritical without carefully considering the situation and basing it on clear, hard evidence. No way at all.

I just don't know what Guru and I can do to persuade our fellow Norwich fans of his integrity. If only he could back up his manifold statements with some sort of evidence, would that be sufficient?

Rob you git. You have just made me spat my brew all over my keyboard after reading that

Just seen all this on the BBC and reading on the Accies board sounds like we have a bit of a pit-bull (not a Labrador!). I, like others posting above am delighted we haven't got the knackered tactician Warnock. Alex Neil sounds like he will take zero bull and I hope to see him stamp out complacency. WTF will happen? Who knows.

Just wonder how going for the unknown quantity might give us an edge over some Championship teams who might have put feet up if faced with the old hang dog usual suspects like Warnock
