Interesting. So Deano is backing the chairman and thats reason enough for grown men to boo him? Nice argument there fellas.

No doubt from afar and from the safety of their mates being nearby.

Still, I guess it makes a change for them from screaming abuse at the oppo fans, also from a position of safety and with their mates.
That is exactly the same argument presented before it was rejected, so what has changed. It's bollocks, no proof, anywhere - the FA judgment was proof against what you are saying.
Perhaps the proof is the twitter account Hulltigersindia which has 352 followers out of a population of 1.2 billon.:emoticon-0102-bigsm

The article in the newspaper is bollocks.

He was publically castigated because of his continuous use of the name Hull Tigers, to the extent that he corrects himself when he uses Hull City.

He has previously stated that the name change proposal, AA's attitude & belief that he can do what he wants "because he put the money in" is a scandal.

He's also stated that "if the name ain't broke, don't fix it"

He thinks it disappointing that AA failed to discuss the proposal to change the name with the supprters that it means most to.

He openly said he wasn't happy with the name change & that he's becoming a little fed up with the issue. He wished it would go away so the supporters can enjoy the season like they should be able to.

He's worried that a number of fans who are either against the name change issue & those who are undecided may start to turn against the owner as the name change issue rumbles on.

He believes it will always be Hull City in his eyes & that's what everyone sings in the stands. He doesn't agree with it but you're never going to change his mind.

He also doesn't think changing the name will bring in any extra money or supporters but there is nothing else people, including himself, can do or say?

This was of course all before he secured himself a position on the payroll.

He, & the situation he's created for himself reminds me a little of the hypocritical ****s who thought AA to be a **** of the highest proportions. That he should **** off sooner rather than later as his intention was to run the club into the ground etc etc etc but now we're in the PL those ****y PLW see the same man as some kind of all knowing, all powerful almighty creator & divine being. The Lord & The Master, The Maker & The Infinite Spirit, or Allah for short, who shouldn't be questioned by anybody.

Ha ha that's what he told me....but he was slightly intoxicated with alcohol at the time and playing that famous role....."big time Charlie". Have you heard of it ?

But who do you speak to about it other than on here Fez?

At least two influential members of CTWD have said to me that they now think Assem Allam will succeed. Even if it is rejected now there is nothing in the FA rules to stop any number of applications by a club, it could apply every season and unless Assem Allam can find a buyer willing to pay what he wants for the club, what has he got to lose by resubmitting his application time and time again.

Nothing to stop him putting in another application even though he said he wouldn't. We know that he's only a man of his word when it suits him.

The thing he does need to consider is the poisonous atmosphere that is developing amongst the Tiger Nation. He will only retain the silent majority if he continues to give us success, the one thing he cannot guarantee. If he fails to give us success then the noisy minority will get louder.

What a ****ing idiotic thing to say Mr Perfect. Windass is going in to talk about football not his ****ing divorce. So do you think your childrens teachers should all be happily married not suffer with M/H problems etc etc.
Because they do, its called real ****ing life.

Be as rude as you wish, but he is seeking a paid role as an ambassador of our football club and I do not believe he is worthy.

You said (based on your chats with some City fans) that the FA like us being in the PL. Why would PL rivals care? Why would (envious?) lower league representatives want us to remain in the PL?

Who do I need to speak to? I travel extensively and speak to many folk; do I need to list them? Who are these influential CTWD members, are they to shy to express themselves on here?

Seriously, what has changed here? It has always been known that he could, if sufficiently stubborn, keep reapplying - unless the FA change the rules. Age.

Most of those against the name change keep going on about the history of the club but turn on one of the very legends who was a key part of that history.
It's a very sad indeed, those who booded should hang their heads in shame we don't need supporters like that.

How many people do you think booed ? How many people do you think are against the name change ?

Think of the someone who has been associated with our club who you really believe damaged the club - maybe, Lloyd for the locking out, etc. Whoever it was, they are a part of our history.

Slightly off topic. My wife joined up to twitter a couple of days ago and has tweeted nothing. Already she has had tweets from the Australian Prime Minister and Mario Balotelli. Anyone explain what is going on?

I think that the BPL in India trip showed some degree of sanction.

Generally in conversations that I have had about the name change, there does seem to be an acceptance that the FA will allow it to go ahead. The views expressed to me by several supporters is that they like us being in the top flight and if the price paid is a change in the clubs name, they may not like it but they will not stop going if it changes.

That is one very generalised and unsupported statement that the FA will allow it to go ahead. Your opinion, perhaps.

I would never boo Windass. I would never boo any of our legends.

However, he's decided to support Allam and take his money, and he purposefully calls us 'Hull Tigers' in the media when our name is 'Hull City A.F.C.'. I've lost a lot of respect for him because of that.
