The argument stood before those games. It stood for the whole calendar year of league football. What you just did was manipulate the facts, what I did was state them as they are.

I use a full year of results and you use three fixtures.

Heard the phrase in football... You're only as good as your last game?

I think you're incredibly naive if you can't see how bad our league form has been. The FA Cup was great but it was his saving grace from the league. It is really pathetic that you use the FA Cup Final loss as an example, its the argument of a 13 year old. This was a solid year of poor results. I could understand your viewpoint if people where calling for his head or criticising him after a few games.

I wasn't and many where not calling for his head when we lost one game. I personally felt that Bruce was not exempt from criticism of whereas you seem to think he deserves no criticism whatsoever.

You and some others on here have perpetually and aggressively shot down anyone who dare question anything Bruce does. I've never had a problem with Bruce and think he is a great manager but if results are forthcoming then he like any manager in football or any profession should eventually be questioned and eventually be let go.

Blindly supporting someone doesn't make you a better supporter than someone who doesn't. But there is an element of self righteousness on here if you are a blind supporter.

Excuse me mate, but would you please **** off ?

Why is 1 year the de facto correct length of time in which to judge a manager? Why not go back two years and talk about him getting us promoted when it didn't look likely?

So that redundant a cliched phrase applies to a team that gets relegated but wins their last game of the season.

So losing games in the first five months of 2014 means you'll be relegated May 2015?

Of course he hasn't.

Everything needs to be judged in 12 month gaps.

This post right here made me realise you haven't got a clue and aren't worth the wasted time.

It also made me realise that you manipulate everything to try and validate your argument.

You openly admit I have based my criticism on an entire year rather than a knee jerk couple of months.

Surely the argument has way more credence and validity if the information is taken from a long period of time and not just the last three games of which we won 2.

At the end of the day we both didn't want shot of Bruce. Where we differ is you sat on the fence and ignored facts and butties your head in the sand.

Goodnight

No. But it means your poor form is consistent and could indicate a trend.

It really doesn't. Different team, different year, different opponents, etc. You can tell us all about our poor form in 2014 if you want, but its 2015 now. Makes your argument even more silly judging us on games from a different season. I'm not saying we're in amazing form but your extrapolation of facts/form is ludicrous.

What is ludicrous is your evasion of the truth. Manipulation of obvious things support your baseless argument.

This argument applied yesterday in 2014. Splitting hairs over one day on New Year's Day.

Pundits constantly refer, compare and contrast this seasons form to last years form because it is entirely relevant. The team maybe different to last year but the one consistency is that the manager is the same and if your poor form continues from one season to the next then it could indicate a trend or a problem with your manager.

The things I am saying are quite obvious. But it comes across speak what like you are arguing for arguments sake. I could say something you agree with and I'd still think you'd say the opposite.

I've come to the conclusion you're a troll. Have a good evening - I won't be replying again.

From the man who says that results from a previous season affect the team now.

Christ.
You're stupid and deluded if you don't think last season has an effect on this season. You know, seen as it's the same manager and largely the same team.

Psychological factors and form will/can continue from one season to the next.

That really is it from me this time.

Some people can't see things that may slightly alter their perception of their ignorance. Open your mind.
