His upturn in form seems to have coincided with the sudden emergence of a massive ponytail on his head. Where has that come from? He was completely bald when we played Swansea on the 20th, but had flowing shoulder-length locks by the day of the Leicester game 8 days later. Has he gone and bought a fancy dress wig or something? I know he used to have hair like that when he was in Italy. Maybe he's superstitious and thinks shaving his head led to him struggling for form.

Maybe he did a quick stint in Panto over those couple of weeks and asked if he could keep the hairpiece!

I'm actually really exited about what Abel might do for us after yesterday. I just hope all these injuries don't affect our season too much.

I think if he works on his hold up play, he could be a great player. I think the only reason he couldn't take on evertons last defender was due to the fact he had been all over the pitch! Every ball played up front he was there to collect he, granted he lost it on the odd occasion but if he works on this he could be a very good player. Balotelli was £16m, considering we paid £6mill less.....we have got a bargain!

This post right here made me realise you haven't got a clue and aren't worth the wasted time.

It also made me realise that you manipulate everything to try and validate your argument.

You openly admit I have based my criticism on an entire year rather than a knee jerk couple of months.

Surely the argument has way more credence and validity if the information is taken from a long period of time and not just the last three games of which we won 2.

At the end of the day we both didn't want shot of Bruce. Where we differ is you sat on the fence and ignored facts and butties your head in the sand.

Goodnight

**** that, can't stand gritty sarnies

I don't think all those international breaks did him, Ramírez or Ben Arthur any favours when it came to getting up to speed. I think Diamé had a bit more football and training in his legs and looked the part from the off.

We're only now getting a look at what Hernandez and Ramírez can do.

He put in a shift but (sadly for us) there is no end product.
George Boyd has scored more (in open play) for a Club lower than us and he's a winger!

irresistible
adjective
1. overwhelming, compelling, overpowering, urgent, potent, imperative, compulsive, uncontrollable, overmastering It proved an irresistible temptation to go back.
2. seductive, inviting, tempting, enticing, provocative, fascinating, enchanting, captivating, beguiling, alluring, bewitching, ravishing The music is irresistible.
3. inescapable, inevitable, unavoidable, sure, certain, fated, destined, inexorable, ineluctable They feel the case for change is irresistible.

I do hope that this enables him to put the ball in the back of the net next game because 2 from 12 appearances in open play is far from "overwhelming" "overpowering' "potent" (don't make me laugh) "overmastering" "captivating" or "ineluctable" (that which cannot be escaped from)?
Its amazing what we dont know, they are so many "unknown unknowns" to us. Always assumed irresistible meant the second of the above groupings. But find the main meaning is the number one grouping which would put Abel in the overwhelming, overpowering, potent, uncontrollable. Thats what we need in a striker! As long as he does not start to bite (uncontrollable a la Suarez).

Thanks for the education. I can now put irresistible in the "known known" category.

Who knows what he is thinking
Maybe he's thinking put in a good few months and get a move to a big club!!!
