You're clearly not aware of how Madrid operate. Its hardly a secret that you need to be pally with a bunch of Madrid fans to understand. They are only interested in one thing. League titles are a given. It will only be a few years before another one is won regardless of who is in charge.
The 10 years an about as many managers since last winning it go to show this. Managers cast aside despite domestic success in league or cup.

Today is the day we overtake Spurs and results going right West Ham.
Spurs should and most likely will lose to Chelsea and West Ham face a tricky match against WBA who will want to show Tony Pulis what they can do.
We need a 7 goal swing to pass West Ham should they lose but it could happen they lose 2-0 and we do Leicester 5-0
Its all wishful thinking though and we'll settle for 7th today and overtaking the Spuds.
