If you are Real Madrid, then pretty much all you have to do is beat Barcelona.
Crash and Burn? He finished 2nd......<doh>

He got 281 points out of a possible 342 over 3 seasons, with a win percentage of around 80%.

    Behave yourself.

Barca were the best club side on the planet and Madrid were firmly in their shadow. He built a side that won a record number of league games, got 100 points scored 121 goals won 16 away games and 32 in total beating Barca by 9 points. If that's failure I'll take it.

Its not my fault angry old men cant take a difference of opinion. Its ironic how Tobes moans about Dave yet is no different himself. Self righteous fool. <ok>

As for your other post. I've done nothing but state we will be much better this season and will get better as it goes on. Our injuries are relevant and have had an impact.

The fact is some, and that doesn't include you Mito, are a little bit annoyed that United are doing better than they expected. I'm enjoying it as I suspect are most United fans.

How me saying Chelsea won't win the league descended into chaos though? I have no idea. Its hardly a crazy statement. I havent said United will win it, or Arsenal. Its City ffs. The current champions.

Failure is probably a strong word tbh. But for his own standards it was he worst period as a manager.

Porto - won league and champions league
Chelsea - won new enough everything apart from champions league
    Inter - won champions league
Madrid - won a cup and league
Chelsea - looking to win something again

Out of every club he managed he poorest return was Madrid with inter/Porto being joint top.

In a mickey mouse league where 7-0 thrashings are commonplace.

Lets set the PL up like La Liga and see how many of you think United dominating alongside Arsenal is some kind of achievement. These two clubs can take 80% of TV revenues while the rest share the rest.

So by his own standards he failed to deliver. Which is what I said further up.

Which is correct, as you have just shown.

    I know.

He was hired to win a 10th Champions League. The league didnt really matter in the grand scheme. If they didnt win it one year, they would probabaly win it the next, or the next. Its a guarantee that either Barcelona or Madrid will win La Liga at some point every few years.

What didnt go down well for Madrid was Barcelona sweeping up Champions League title after Champions League title. They paid huge money for who they saw as the best possible coach to put a stop to this.

He failed to do so, fell out with everyone and was forced out.

Real Madrid don't give a flying **** about semi finals or the Spanish cups. They have one purpose.

How many Champions league titles did he win? The only reason he was hired.

They hadn't won a Champions League title for quite a bit longer than that.

How did Jose get on with the task he was hired to do?

    Spain hated him.
He is a dick, and they dont like dicks, because they are all ****s.
In England we love a dick, the press salivate everytime he opens his mouth.
It was nothing to do with results as to why he was ousted, there were literally like a dozen managers before him in recent years who performed at a far ****ter standard

Again how in the **** do you know he was hired with that task you giant cockmunch?
Did Real Madrid WANT to win the CL? Yes, every team in it wants to win it.
You make up so much bullshit! Were you sat in on his contract negotiations? Did you read his Real contract?

You just ooze bullshit from every pore

Yep. And each was removed because they didnt deliver the Champions League.

Carlo finished 3rd in La Liga, behind both of their biggest rivals. He is held in far higher regard (for his achievements not personality) than Jose.

    Jose is a dick.....
    Strike 3, talking **** again.
Spain like Carlo because he is a humble, nice guy.

It could have something to do with what most Managers are hired for at Madrid. La Liga is a given. If not one year it will be the next.

You tell me what real Madrid pride themselves on and then tell me what the ultimate expectation of a Madrid manager is?

3rd place and a Champions League is seen as a better achievement than 1 league title in 3 years. i wonder why that might be....

What an absolute crock of **** Bod.

They like him because hes a nice guy then.... not because he delivered what they wanted? He was a game away from being sacked. Infact he was minutes away.

Hes now a hero. such is the circus at Madrid.

And you know this from all the Spanish Madrid fans you talk to yeah? Seeing as your written English is completely warped and ****ed up, I dread to think of all the BS you spout in Spanish.

So every manager who has never won the Champions League with a big club is a total failure?
Was SAF a failure with United until 99 yeah?
I think the expectation of a Madrid manager is the same as all managers, to win stuff.
