Grohl is actually quoted as saying he misses playing drums, and Hawkins is better than he Grohl drummed on the Songs for the Deaf album by Queens Of the Stone Age which is an amazing album as well

Looks like I'm wrong he played with them a lot early on............. Your right about Channing and if I'm right there's only 2 tracks on Bleach where Crover does the Drums.
Nice one Luv, he is good! To me though you can be just as good like Chad Smith of the RHCP (who fits the band perfectly) Or Brad Wilk of Rage Against the machine (who is awesome) The drummer locks in with the bass and you take it from there, RHCP's + RATM do this with each other perfectly, as do Slipknot, their drummer is also awesome and I can only dream of being as good as Joey Jordison (although he's left the band now, very disappointing news) he is doing alot of blast beats there, and he's good. But to fit a chemistry of a very succesful band is an whole different ball game Thanks for the vid though mate, not seen that before and he's certainly talanted
It's not the best vid to be honest, he's brilliant at times and how they keep up with each other is brilliant, the guy on guitar has 2 bass strings most of the time and plays bass and guitar at the same time.
