Forget the published transfer fee, it's the total deal and terms that count. None of us know that. Transfer fees are almost an irrelevance these days.
Oh dear, not much of a Supporters Trust Member are you, only willing to act for those you personally like or agree with. Mind you we all knew that is precisely why CTWD are not fit to become a Supporters Trust in the first place. Your slip is showing Mother Theresa.
Don't know if its posted in this thread but our owner just bought the hospital a £1.4 million pound surgical robot. What a guy!
I don't agree with your point of view in general, but here you have hit the nail on the head and it is precisely what MY problem is with this crowd. THEY (No To Hull Tigers / CTWD / Hull City Supporters Trust..............whatever camouflage they mask themselves with) are blatantly lying. THEY WILL NOT act as a Supporters Trust because they will not server Supporters wishes............only those that THEY agree with. Already on this thread Lambrettaman has already said he wouldn't "Piss on Me even if he was on Fire" when I, as a Hull City Supporter, have the right to expect him to act on my behalf if I am a member of the trust and HE is acting as a representative of that Trust. THIS IS THE DECEPTION. These people are looking to increase their powerbase to serve their own agenda, NOT to act as a Trust.
Allem in campaign? Not me. If he'd got his way when he wanted it and I have to admit he made a good case then we would be getting used to the gruesome name change by now and it would all be in the past. But Allem couldn't take not winning gracefully and had to make the most bizarre comments that I think are the underlying cause of the club having an awful lack of togetherness. If c**ts could fly Allem would be a squadron leader and he should fly away now
Being a member of an organization gives you a voice, it does not give the right to expect democratically elected officials to pander to your every whim. If you are a member of the HCST and you wish to raise something, take it to the membership, but don't act like a twat if you don't get your wish.
I won't be joining that organisation in any circumstance as it is simply an extension of the CTWD group. But I do object to an organisation claiming to be a Supporters Trust when it has no intention of behaving like one. You do understand what a Supporters Trust is don't you?
Yes, it's an organization that works on behalf of its members. This one is specifically aimed at supporters of Hull City. No membership, no voice. You do realise that, don't you?
A group of supporters that get together to form an organisation that looks to influence the football club and, maybe, obtain shares. It is a democratic organisation with each member having one vote. The policies of the Trust are determined by the members. Hull City Supporters Trust will behave like one. Whether you ever join it is up to you.
I can't see the current owners handing over shares in the club for free, why would they? If we do get sold, I can't see any new owner going "here fellas, have some free shares in the club I just spent my own money on". Surely theres no plans for a cap in hand approach of "Please sir, can we have some shares in the club for nowt? Oh and a seat on the board? Ta" So, exactly where do you NotCTWDNowers think these mysterious shares are going to come from?
Who said they'd be free? Its just an assumption you made. Didn't the current owner talk about supporters having a mjority interst in the club? A lot of water has gone under the bridge since then, so he may have changed his mind.
Exactly . People bitching and moaning about others who are trying to improve the atmosphere at the ground but have no alternative ideas themselves
You talk about me assuming they'd be free, when in fact I was simply speculating. You then go on to state the owners expressed a desire to see minority fan ownership. In summary, you said bugger all and totally ignored the question.
In some cases yes. But back to the team we have not had much luck of late either. As a note, After the 1/1/14 new year PL games West Ham were 2nd bottom with just 15 points from 20 games. Keep the faith.
I meant majority fan ownership but missed out the "a". That's what Assem Allam said, he wanted 60% fan ownership. http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/Undefined-Headline/story-11957207-detail/story.html I don't expect any owner to give the Trust free shares. Swansea City have worked with their trust who now own 21% of the club. Swansea City are a successful Premier League team and could be an example to follow. The shares will come from raising enough money to buy them if they are offered. A club working with a Supporters Trust may offer a minority shareholding to cement the relationship. There again they may not. Doesn't stop it being an aspiration for the Trust and it doesn't stop the work of the Trust if no shares are offered. That's where any shares in the club will come from, unless we become a Public Limited Company and anyone can buy the shares, even the Trust.
