When you talk about 8 million, you need to remember this is nearly 2015 and 8 million gets you **** all these days unless you're taking a punt on a foreigner who has done OK in the French or Dutch league.

To compare to two transfers you have to consider:

Their age, the stage they are at in their career, their value to their current club, their value to their new club, wages, bonuses, potential sell on value, the players position, the players form, the players history and the players decision.

Only then can you compare transfer fee's, as none of the above are ever identical its utterly pointless trying to compare.

Do countless clubs consult the fans about their financial practices that are now leaving them with FFP sanctions?

As for what I'm going to do about the atmosphere...........well, I'm not the one complaining about it, Sonny Jim, and if I was of a mind to do anything about it, the very last people I would discuss it with would be Dalton, Gretton or other certain Not606 posters who must remain anonymous.

Granted the Barry one is a bit far fetched but my point is Bruce signed Livermore for 8 million!! 4 or 5 million over his true value......I.e wasted money

With any luck we will go down as Allam is forced to convert his gift to the people of Hull into equity. Double relegation would be better.

The fans were consulted over Kirkby and there was a formal vote, which narrowly came out in favour.

It was only afterwards that the outcry came, as the full details of the scheme emerged.
