That was my recommendation a few months ago. He's has done well for you but you need to move him on at the end of the season, or earlier if he looks like taking you down imo. I'd be surprised if you offered him a new contract. Ultimately your squad is good enough to stay up, it's big and plenty of quality in there. I know you've had injuries but so has everyone. It's up to Brucie to get them playing well and picking up points init.

You cannot play players who are a serving suspensions or players who have their legs or feet in plaster or other players who are recovering from hamstring injuries. If you could you would be on stage performing other miracles.

Me and my friend Paul were two of the MANY folks in the East Stand chanting "Steve Bruce" loud and proud at the start of the game...

Unfortunately, at the end of the game - I couldn't bring myself to chant his name like usual after watching yet another lacklustre display - where IMO the manager had to take the blame. Personally, I'm not sure why Brady didn't start ahead of Meyler as much I admire the latter.

Worrying times, but there has been worse (losing 3-1 at home to Macclesfield in '02!). Time for a massive two performances at Sunderland and Leicester!

I'm pissed off more than worried. but lets not get too deflated, we're only six points off 13th..Long way to go....If Bruce has not turned it around by this time next month..Time to go, maybe...But who will come in to save us? Answers on a postcard please....to Dr Allam, Chairman of Hull City AFC...

I heard Robbie Savage say something very interesting on 5 Live about Nigel Pearson, and I thought it had to apply with Steve Bruce as well.

"It's coming up to the January transfer window, your chairman has got to look and say does he trust his manager to spend the money he's given properly? And if so, would he get the most out of his new and current players."

Who on earth would come to us to turn things around, for one. And two, does Allam trust Bruce with signings any more after Ben Arfa/Ramirez, Livermore playing worse than last year and £10-12 million on Hernandez who hasn't looked to impressive since the Arsenal game.

Was pretty shocked today with everything, Bruce is backing a wrong un with Ramirez, his corners were awful not beating the first man and he is slow and weak. Come on Brucey sort it out, don't let the bitter and twisted have excuses to call for your head- unfortunately Steve will get the boot if today is repeated but he's backed the wrong kind of horses in Ramirez and Ben Arfa and must know it now

City need a win. The bleeding obvious I know but it's the only way the team will get a bit of confidence back.

I never said you could. Confused me there fella. Are you implying your problems are purely down to injuries? I think you can still put a decent team out comfortably. Yes some of your best are injured but that doesn't mean you can't compete, you've got a good squad.

So you wanted our midfield to be Ramirez, Livermore and Brady with two up top? I really don't think that would of worked we need some bite in that midfield them three would be far to weak and would not track back enough for me.

You fickle ****s. Most of you would have been joining in the steve Bruce chants only a few matches ago.

that's before he fell out with Ben Arfa - fell out with McShane - started picking Meyler and started picking ****ing Junior - we've only ever won 2 games with Junior in the Prem, as soon as he was picked to start you could bet your house that we wouldn't win

Swansea is exactly the type of team we need to beat ffs

<laugh>

You mad, bro? Take a trip over to our board, we are disappointed with our performance today because we expect to be far more dominant than we were today. Some call it arrogance, we simply demand it from the players and make sure they know it days before the match is played no matter who the opposition is. The effect works, we may lose some games but the players never get dominated and become the dominator instead.

So who are we going to beat? Not Stoke or West Brom at home, that's expecting too much. Definitely not Swansea who had the worst away record in the league before today because they're far too good. Which teams are we looking to get 3 points from?

QPR has the worst away record - 8 games, 8 defeats. We won at Old Trafford, and drawn at Everton and Sunderland.
