Coming from twitter 'transfers_ssn' that we are after senegal striker moussa sow, top scorer in france last year with 25 league goals for champions Lille, also read them up the road are Interested. The fact that he's Senegalese makes me think this is tosh, id imagine they qualified for an.c?

No one seems THAT impressed with him. Many seem to think that he's only so prolific because he has Gervinho and Eden Hazard on either side of him.

I've heard exactly the same. I can't be bothered to research him, but am I right in saying that prior to last season he didn't have a very impressive record?

has it in his contract at Citeh that he will be the highest paid player no matter who they sign so he is on well over 200k a week as Yaya Toure is on that sort of money aswell.

Even if we would pay him the 200k+ a week he would laugh at the prospect of signing for us

we have as much chance of signing Messi as we do Tevez

    Spot on Chappaz.

Gervinho is the better of the 2, and i don't rate Gervinho.

    Hazard......

Well, we can only dream of that, what a ****ing player he is.

If he came here though he'd have gyan and sessegnon aong side him. 25 league goals is not to be scoffed at, remember we had someone similar who didn't do much but pop up in the right place at the right time, who we are trying to replace.

Let's be real here. Gyan and Sess are good players, but Gervinho is top quality and Hazard is an incredible player. Sow wouldn't get anywhere near the same kind of quality delivery at Sunderland or even Newcastle. Plus, this is a much tougher league.

Other clubs seem to realise this too. This guy has scored 25 goals in 36 apps. He's one of the most prolific goalscorers in Europe at the moment, yet no one seems to be that interested, do they? With that sort of record you would expect some top clubs to be all over him, but so far there isn't much to go by. In fact, people seem to be fighting over Gervinho and Hazard much more than Sow.

Gervinho ain't great either mate, but he's decent, far better than Sow.

Put either of us in a side with Hazard, and we'd get a few tap ins a season, Hazard is going to be spectacular, in fact Belgium are going to have some side in the next 2-3 years.

Hazard is a bit old now, 51 in fact. and plays for Dunton Green in the Sevenoaks league. (51 and still playing, must have been all that black pudding.)

Good old Sunderland lad, that Micky Hazard.

haha senegal are basically through in their group, I would be suprised if he came for 2 reasons.

    1) hes african
    2) hes abandoning champions league.

We did ScattyMoo, it was just the thought of Syd dressed up in hotpants and calling for her brothers that put us off.
