We were a match for Chelsea??? what the **** are you guys smoking. They were toying with us all game. Half arsed even. I'm not sure what you people are seeing, we were horrible. The loss isn't the problem. I expected to lose 4-0. The problem is the performance. The lack of idea. We can't create genuine chances no matter who we play against. And when you look at MOTD you can see all the chances west brom, palace, sunderland, leicester create... they're getting unlucky not scoring more. We're not even close to scoring, at this rate we don't deserve to stay up.
Using match of the day edits as an argument just proves how silly your argument now is. There have been plenty of times those edits don't reflect on those games. They only show some chances in the game and a few key decisions.
Do you see your contradictions? They only show some chances in the game? That's already more than we get. TO win games you have to score. To score you have to create genuine chances. To create genuine chances you need to be more direct and bring quality passing to the front. It's not ****ing rocket science. If only losing 2-0 to chelsea is something to be proud of then we're really going nowhere with this club. i would have rather lost 6-1 than 2-0 today.
We've had 9 shots on target out of 62 total shots in last 7 games. Yet we're matching our opposition... 1.28 shots on target per game. That is pathetic. I hope we can all agree that we need shots on targets to score.
And thus totally f*** up our goal difference. Early on in the season we scored quite freely. Against Swansea we need to play both Jelavic and Hernandez up front and we may actually win. If we do get two wins from the next three then we'll roughly be were we need to be in order to stay up.
our lack of scoring is currently hurting us a lot more than a potential goal difference relegation in 23 games time.
I'm not going to stop replying now. Your posts are getting more and more laughable. I'm glad you watch on streams, we don't need your negativity at the match. You're complaining because we lost 2-0 to the eventual champions. Enjoy the rest of your night. I'm tired from the travel home and off to bed now
It's really obvious from this thread, who was at the game and who wasn't. At Villa, Burnley and Man United there was a disgraceful lack of fight in the team, that was absolutely not the case yesterday. We played well and until the sending off it always looked like we might pull one back, despite the result, it was an enjoyable game to watch.
There's no shame in losing 2-0 to Chelsea away. It's the results like West Brom and Burnley that still hurt. Hull City needs to stop throwing away points against the other bottom half clubs.
Sadly you fail to realise a forum's main objective is to vent after and before games. But you're not on your own. 19th in the table 9 shots on target out of last 63 shots yet some of you think this forum should be filled with my little pony positive mulch. And once again you fail to respond to my point. The 2-0 loss is not what upsets me. It's the fact that we never looked like troubling them. And they weren't exactly having a good day. 2-0 to Chelsea only looks good on paper. The only reason it was only 2-0 and not 4/5-0 was because Chelsea looked pretty **** not because we made them sweat. Surely performance has to mean something when a team is in a rut like this. You expect to lose but surely you want to see some sort of progress. FUnnily enough I saw Cech in Putney the night before. I should have told him not to turn up had I known how bad we are up front.
