Order of fixtures. Priceless. You are gold #melt.

You've got nothing on Tobes mate, you haven't even posted on my personal wall FFS <cheers>

Disgaree with this. They had players out and had a poor night in terms of finishing. Every bit of their build up play showed drive, fluidity and strength. United were lucky tonight, but 99% of the time Saints won't miss their chances and their oppo won't get that lucky. If Saints had folded and been played off the park I could understand but they played well, just had a "bad day at the office". Saints may have lost today but they continue to impress. I really don't think it holds any hope for the likes of Liverpool, Spurs, Everton etc.

Yeh they didnt play well tbh. They werent bad but theyndid overdo everything. Had they simplified it we get beat bit thankfully they needed 7 passes more tham necessary.

Like o said, not bad but they are capable of far better performances. After the second goal they were rubbish too. Though tiredness and poor subs from koeman were at fault for that.

meh... you are telling me tadic, pelle and mane are not first choice then on my count they've a whole 2 players really out. alderweirld and sneiderlin really.

they were not great and utd were giving the ball away all over the place and really though southamptons actually creation wasn't great.

Didn`t need him mate, we have RVP. Would you expect an experienced manager like Van Gaal to push a player who is not match fit like Brendan does with Sturridge?

No, as I said it looked more like a defensive situation. But if Van Gaal whines again about his match fitness you know exactly who is to blame <ok>

Did you notice the difference between LVG interview and Brendans? One thinks his team are magnificent and he can ask no more of them, the other is honest.

Absolutely. We were **** and lucky. LVG called it.

Brenda makes excuses.

If anything Brenda should be the more confident manager.

Thats how i saw it tbh mito. Saints average, united shambolic.

Those two alone are a big loss, but that's not the be all and end all of what I've said.

What really annoys me about Rodgers is that his players always have given their all and couldn't have done any better . Even against Sunderland 0-0 at home. Van Gaal wins and still thinks the performance was not good enough and it was only luck. Rodgers should learn and stop irritating the fans...<ok>

TBF I don't care about that stuff said to the media so long as he's saying behind closed doors that he wants more

United were lucky.. a dodgy backpass and a goal keeping error (the ball ended up 2 foot off the ground 3 yards out of goal, how the Keeper didn't come and claim it is beyond me). On another day Southampton would have put another couple of chances away (long had 2 sitters he put over and straight at De Gea). But have to give United some credit, they are winning game while playing poorly. Did it today, did it against Arsenal.

It just shows that if you have a quality attack like we did last year and like United have this year then you can have a dodgy defence and get into the top 4. To win the title you need a good defence on top though.

Yet we were missing

Rafael
Shaw
Di maria
Blind

4 of our top performing players this season. We had 2 defenders in a formation consisting of a back 5.

But yeh, saints were missing a couple of players...

On another day they'll finish those chances especially that header. We listen to fans when their teams play well but lose saying "as long as we're creating chances I'm not worried". And to a certain extent that is correct. Why should that be any different for Southampton.

Seems pointless, every supporter knows what they have seen and so the manager should let them know he has seen the same and is happy/not happy dependant on this.

Which only goes to show that if we had invested properly and not had our only striker out for most of the season a top 4 place was there for the taking. Depressing isn't it. United have been awful this year and had an horrendous injury list and there they sit in third. Come on guys get your finger out and start playing again!
And if we have money to spend in Jan buy some decent f***ing players who will have an immediate impact

Couldn't have put it better myself <ok>

Another year passes us by.

You make a tool of yourself backed up by fack all which is why you're a bit of a joke petal. I'll never post on your "personal wall" as I don't even know what it is but it does sound very #melt.

sooooo uir is agreeing with me then....

utd lost two players in first half too.... yet southampton are worldies.... that triple defensive blunder for first goal... the defensive line being outside the d let alone the 18 yard box on a free leaving 18 yards for rooney to put it in?

southampton were one dimensional. I do not know why utd seemed incapable of a few one touch passes to cut them up and 90% of the time pass it backwards letting the high pres off the hook.

weird game.

Theu won't get as many easy openings in future games as they wont fave a side with 7 injured defenders out of 9.

It means nothing if you don`t tell us how the teams we played last year are doing this year in comparison <ok>
There`s some stats needed here, go fetch boy!
