Since you want me to replace all nouns with their German counterparts, I was informing you that the German word for traffic jam is Stau. <ok>

I got it.

Will have to put Dusseldorf on my list of cities to visit. Planning on doing a Euro trip soonish, a few stops for a couple of days each in different cities

sorry nozzer... **** hole....

i find a lot of that area is so industrialised that its lost itself in it.

I was at the german corner recently... you ever been?

I like Munich.

But that might have something to do with the fact that I've only ever been during Oktoberfest.

Düsseldorf? What makes you say that? The industrialised comment sounds more like the Ruhr area (Duisburg, Essen, Bochum, Dortmund etc), which is next to here, but doesn't include Düsseldorf.

What do you mean by German corner?

Only thing I associate with it now anyways. <laugh>

I've been to a first anniversary celebration of a company I work with today. It was a Christmas choir concert in church, very festive. Quite enjoyed actually, the Choir have won many awards and were recently ranked in the top ten in the country too.
