What's that winky little face all about? Does all this give you some sort of pride being the guy who started this thread weeks ago? Well done you, legend
I think you need to go on an anger management course mate. I think that it's obvious to most that Adams is "out of his depth", so I'm just putting it out there. Perhaps Phelan coming in will change things for the better, who knows? Anyway, I don't think McNally will dither as long as he did last time because he knows the knives will be out for him if he does
You didn't answer my question, why the need for a little winky face? Are you feeling proud of yourself?
My blood is green and yellow could I manage a football team? Hell no!! We should have replaced CH with an experienced guy or possibly replaced Calderwood with Phelan We are in the poo now yesterday was a terrible display I would sooner see CH back than continue with this rubbish
I'm not angry, I'm not bitter, and I'm certainly not running a 'campaign of hatred' towards our current manager. What I am is genuinely concerned for the future of our club. I'm not ready to accept us being a null of the mill Championship club again. This season is considered to be our best chance of getting back to the top flight, and rightly so. After three seasons in the Premier League, an extremely good core of players retained and big money replacements brought in promotion can be the only aim. Currently we're a million miles away from that. We're so far from a good team it's just not enjoyable going to the matches. To maintain the possibility of promotion this season we need to act quickly. A lot of fans, myself included, believed Adams should have gone after the Boro and Forest games. Since then we've picked up one point from two eminently winnable home games. Adams doesn't seem to be able to turn this run around. If anything I think we're getting worse week by week. Of course the players should take a degree of responsibility for the poor performances, but most were of the opinion that they're more than good enough to win games in this division. I still do. So the problems must stem from elsewhere. As I said in another post its a lack of leadership on and off the pitch. I'm not saying any of this to be provocative, but I'm glad we're already on 27 points. The way we're playing I wouldn't back us to get a lot more than the 23 points needed to stay up. I just can't see where the next win is coming from. Cardiff, Bolton, Fulham, Birmingham and Huddersfield have all turned their form around after changing their manager. I believe it's time for us to do the same.
Robin Sainty ‏@RobinNCST 6m6 minutes ago @RichardBalls I remember Lambert saying that once you lose the crowd you're finished. Neil has lost the crowd without question. 0 replies 0 retweets 0 favorites Reply Retweet Favorite More Klobo ‏@Klobo15 4m4 minutes ago @RobinNCST @RichardBalls We all know once you lose the barclay and snake pit like FT yesterday it is almost impossible to get it back I wouldn't say 'impossible' but definitely 'improbable'
With Phelan just incoming perhaps he's got another chance but it's getting perilously close to that magical Xmas sacking period....
I've decided that I'm not going to get involved with the management wrangle all over again. For me, it spoils the football, so I'll post on other subjects, but not this one.
Archant, stirrers of the brown stuff supreme, have decided to get involved - and are running a readers poll "keep hold or get rid"! The voting (so far) surprised me greatly. http://www.eveningnews24.co.uk/spor...be_replaced_as_norwich_city_manager_1_3868463
I am still undecided but a return of less than 3 points from the next 2 games, could tilt the scales enough to join the 72%
We could get 6 points and I'd still want him to go- I can't imagine the team ever fulfilling it's potential with him at the helm. but not MP has joined, I expect NA will have a period of grace, and things might improve.
His 'period of grace' Longsight will be the next two games IMO Lose to Wigan on Saturday and the knives will most certainly be out at the Huddersfield home game where the crowd will accept nothing but a resounding victory. Any misplaced pass, indeed any form of mistake will be met with howls of derision you can bank on that
