Monk must be deliberate at half time. We need shape and control in midfield. We're getting caught up in Palace's chaos and we need to be clinical and get the likes of Montero and then Barrow in the game.

Shelvey off. Carroll or Leon on.

Agree. But fans can sometimes see what refs can't. Easy to see what's right when you have something replayed from different angles. Different when you see it once from maybe a not so good angle.

And if refs haven't seen it clearly, they cannot give the penalty, so he THINKS he has seen something for him to give the penalty, which is something that clearly didn't happen, as it was NOT a penalty.

You can make excuses for refs all you want, but when penalties and red cards are concerned, they need to be 100% sure, he clearly can't be 100% sure as there was nothing there for him to see to make him 100% sure. He guesses.

I'm not making excuses. I agree that they make some bad decisions. My original point was that many fans think they could do better. If they could then why aren't they replying to be referees. The game needs good refs. Millions of fans think they can do they job, so why don't some of them actually do it.

In any case, decision is done, move on and try to score more goals. No point dwelling on what's gone. Focus on what you can do not on things you can't change.

Never's point is important. You do your job, you score the goals, then referees can be crap but can't iimpact the game.

If Routs, Shelvey and others had taken their chances .... we'd be shaking our heads but laughing at the ref.

To have Carroll and Britton available and neither playing is a critical error in judgement imo , and its just an opinion before I get attacked .Either on will free our attack ....

Liverpool just can't click can they - 0-0 against Stoke at half time, but Stoke have had the greater possession.....

Shelvey stopped chasing on that last play .... I don't understand what goes through these players' heads. When you're chasing somebody and they keep going you don't stop and watch
