I agree with you on Rodgers, he's getting it completely wrong at this moment I agree he should play Lambert but still get this lad in to give us have a chance instead of the **** all chance we get with Balotelli.
But he also had Borini who showed at Sunderland that he has goals in him....however its looking like Rodgers will not trust him to help save his season
He didn't get that many? Haven't looked but I believe there were a few penalties in his tally. Borini is a bench player at best but again I'd prefer him to Mario so again agree that at this point he should be considered to start. Who knows what is going on in Rodgers head at the moment.
Doesn't matter how you get them....he can put the ball in the back of the net. My opinion of this is that he was a panic buy, from a manager who had gotten lucky in getting such a high profile job and wanted to be seen to follow his dossier/great plan. he went out and paid big money for player he had worked with, but not really the players the club needed.
Will Rodgers put the final nail in the coffin of Liverpools CL dreams and move a step closer to making an average club.....well average again! please log in to view this image
Not sure about that Luvgonzo If you scrape through In the CL I think he'll get time tbh next 3-4 fixtures In the prem may dictate that though you would have won those easily last year If you lose a couple of those he could very well be gone sooner rather than later...
He scored 6 league goals and 1 LC goal, 2 were penalties for Sunderland in 24 appearances +8 as a sub
was on loan at Swansea, 9 appearances 6 goals, albeit in the Championship. Swans were managed at the time by a certain Mr B. Rodgers. He has his wee pets doesn't he. Joe springs to mind.
I watched him a lot that season and thought he would be a good signing for us, good free kick on him from the right of the box that year.
