So why should Zarate's heavily deflected shot be a goal to him, and not an own goal..? I don't get it. One back for Pelle and Mane please.

He and Sanchez were trying to carry the team though. I think if they use a similar formation to us, with Giroud instead of Pelle and Sanchez/Chamberlain coming from the narrow wing positions (which I'm guessing is what they will do now OG is fit) then I think they'll regain a whole lot of potency. Then they just need to sort their defence out...

Haha, I knew someone would pick up on that! And I had a very strong suspicion it was going to be you TSS!

    You're quite right though.

I don't normally bear grudges, but where injustices occur, especially in respect to Saints, I do. :)

That Lukaku goal was miles offside. Dreadful decision. Looks like Clattenburg and Co. had poor games today at Goodison.

That game showed just how West Ham turn every game into a brawl though.
Barkley's dive was a shocker. Couldn't have been more amused at Nolan getting angry though.
Then there was the Mirallas foul that could have been yellow. Then Tomkins pushes him. again yellow. The Mirallas pushes him back (2 yellow = red) and the Tomkins pretends that his face hurts and falls to the floor = 2 yellow = red)

There was so much anger in that game mainly from West Ham. Anything that happens whether innocuous or not they are shoving opposition getting in their faces etc.

They had a right to be annoyed, MCcarthys challenge was disgusting and Lukaku's goal was offside. Add that to Barkley diving amd Mirallas not getting sent off, I can see why the game got a bit heated. I think you are letting your West Ham hatred blind you a bit in this game.

Not at all . They had a right to get angry but McCarthy's challenge was bad but then he was chased around the pitch and when calmer head in Distin tried to step in to calm things down Andy Carroll pulled him away so that the hammers could get in McCarthy's face. Collins had his head in a few player's faces. Tomkins fakery was shocking as was Barkley's dive.

I'm not arguing about the fact Everton's first goal was offside because it was. I am not arguing that Barkley didn't dive because he did. However that doesn't excuse West Ham's tactics of intimidation and McCarthy and Mirallas' challenges should have been yellows. Mirallas maybe should have been a red because it was pay back after he had just been hacked down with no foul given. Doesn't excuse the hammers behaviour though.

Rodgers drops Balotelli and starts Rickie Lambert against Palace, alongside Adam Lallana. Maybe the penny has dropped, eh?

Did he also claim to give Gareth Bale his first protein shake, sprint training session and kick of a football?

Go on Palace, inflict more misery. But, if I have to chose, its Hull all day long. That needs to be 3-0.

Damn it. I really want Palace to win, but want Rickie to do well and show everyone that he is the best striker Liverpool have.

Yup. LFC to lose 4-3. Rickie hat-trick and Lovren ineptitude, please.

Going to be watching the game with my two Palace-supporting housemates, so makes my choice of who to support even easier.

I'll then become a Hull fan shortly before 16:00.
