Gutted I will not be able to watch the game: +4 hours here in Dubai, so a midnight kick off... at least the City game for me will be at 5.30 on a work day, just have to work out how to escape work early to see that one...

Don't Villa have 3 central defenders, first choice right back and Delph missing?
If they attempt to sit back and defend at home in that situation it seems like they would struggle due the weakened defense and fans being unhappy with that approach

Attack us and with that defense we should be able to score...

Plastic.

In my opinion, telling people you're being sarcastic ruins the whole point.

But you did afterwards anyway. So what's the point..? The lost art of sarcasm, as you call it, is to make what you are implying blindingly obvious without actually saying anything to suggest it. Anybody can be sarcastic yet they are the only one to get the joke. There's an ability in being able to transmit that sarcasm.

For example, I've been sarcastic at least a couple of times above, yet I would suggest that I'm the only one who would be able to spot the incidences, because I haven't bothered enough to make them obvious.

Fascinating.

Article from the Echo mentioning the yellow card tightrope that Pelle and Morgan are walking. Will be very hard to avoid that 5th card before the end of the year, especially for Morgan. Pelle must curtail his celebrations...Koeman has already said that he doesn't want silly cards, so I guess Pelle has been well and truly clogged for his goal celebrations. The article points out that starting with the Villa game, Saints have a game every 3.8 days (if we beat Sheffield United) over a 42 day period, so there will be little time for training...mainly playing and recovering. Welcome to England, Ronald.

I expect both to pick up a 1 game suspension before the end of December. I just hope they don't get booked in the same bloody match! :emoticon-0107-sweat

If you had to choose a match for them both to miss you'd probably have to pick the Burnley game, so if they could both manage to hold out until the Man United game on the 8th December before picking up their fifth yellows that would do nicely. Morgan can get his for a crunching tackle that takes Juan Mata out of the game, while Pellè can have his for celebrating his hat-trick by jumping into the Northam.
