It reminds me of the Stamford Bridge pitch from the time before they finally sorted it out. That used to be a swamp at times over the years.

BTW, Clyne is starting to stamp his mark in the England game. Drury and Pleast going on about Southampton providing players for England these days.
 
I agree with Danny Mills:
"I want England to man up a bit, have a go and show some character.
"It's laboured, slow, it's obvious what we're going to do and easy to play against. I hope they change things at half-time. The pitch isn't brilliant but it's no excuse."
 
Nat Clyne hasn't put a foot wrong. The camera left him running into defence, and then England suddenly attacked and there he was right up there making himself an option. He must have sprinted something like 40 yards.
