Well the first half at Fratton Park today was one of the worst in terms of quality and entertainment I've ever seen. It's remarkable how many players in League 2 are incapable of playing a decent pass, or controlling one. The second half was much better, and the Portsmouth fans made an impressive noise. Danny Hollands was in the middle for Pompey, in a more forward role than he tended to play with us, and to be honest didn't make much of an impression apart from one decent effort the keeper tipped over the bar.
It makes a change watching a football match as a neutral. I actually enjoyed the game (well, the second half at least), whereas even when Charlton win I can rarely savour the experience as I'm too busy fretting we'll blow it.
