Hell
Let's be fair, as football fans we tend to judge footballers and managers, especially, not only on their performances, but what they say and do, and the consistency of it. So I thought I'd have a little bit of fun and look back on a thread after yet another defeat, while Hull were on a high...

http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/276910-Sack-Pardew

First up, TASTY MAG...
As for Steve Bruce - yes, he'd be a definite step up and we could do a lot worse.

Next GCB...
I'd take Bruce because he's a step up from Pardew.

I really don't want Moyes, mainly because he doesn't have a track record with flair players like Cabella etc and is all about grafters with no end product.

Bruce, Laudrup, Rosler, McClaren (derby play great football, he's good at bringing youngsters through and is a decent manager IMO).

Plenty of good options out there which would all be a step up from Pardew, Carver, Stone etc. I think all of the above would be interested.

BRS...
For the record I'd be very happy to see Bruce come in.

And Ben10...
Boyhood club my arse, Bruce isn't Newcastle at all. Good manager though I'd be happy with him but he's not stupid enough to come

Here's ClearlyDeludedGloryHunter...
I would have Bruce or McLaren at a drop of a hat.

And he never mentioned Bruce, but I had to, BoroGully...
I can't believe Saylor is being suggested and there has been no reaction from BRS. This tells me we are up s**t creek, with no paddle, a hole in the boat taking on water (and s**t I assume), with a band of rabid hillbilly waiting at the side of the creek for sexy time.

So... Who sticks by their original opinions? Who would be happy to see Steve Bruce come in? A man who's spent and spent at each and every club he's been at, and achieved nothing but mediocrity (at best), before making his next sideways-career step and spending the next idiot's money... Oh, and usually he tries to take Alex Bruce with him <laugh>. Would any of you want him coming into the environment we have here? Does anybody still think he's a better manager than Pardew?

*P.s don't look at my posting history... I've never ever changed my opinion, honest <whistle>

Not sure with my Bruce fisting but I think I could put up with him more as he is not in the same league of repulsiveness as Pardew (physically disgusting of course)

I still agree with Boro Gully words on Saylor. He has had a few decent games and is at his core, still horrifically s**t.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO you're all sinners <laugh>.... we should have weekly stocks dragging up posts from the past <laugh>

I just thought it would be interesting to talk about this point again actually, with fortunes having shifted quite dramatically, Hull on an absolute stinker of a run and us on the up. The Hull fans themselves are calling Bruce "tactically useless", "inept" etc etc, all the things charged of Pardew less than a month ago.

I'll be honest, I have no idea which of Pardew and Steve Bruce is the better manager, only that Bruce hasn't ever worked under conditions that Alan is now facing, and that despite his deplorable personality in general, Alan seems to be doing ok. At the end of the season, I'd expect Bruce to be ahead, having been backed by the owner very generously.

However, BRS, Saylor is a magnificent thoroughbred now take that s**t back <laugh>

Still reckon its pardew's fault that Ben arfa is playing ****?

This is a good question, and one that I don't think has been answered either way as yet, because Hull fans have been giving him praise, even when the team lose. He certainly hasn't had a tremendous game for them so far, but is showing just enough in flashes to keep the faith, perhaps similar to how we supported him...

Well, if we're naming, shaming and finger pointing then I think Albert keep saying he'll bare his backside in Fenwick's "if we beat [insert team name]" and then crying off like a girl when we win is despicable behaviour. <whistle>

aye probably. his mismanagement of Benni led to him feeling low... so he ate the burgers... which piled on the weight... which causes him to play bad to this day.
Benni needs to be sent to a a greasy kebab house to put him off food for life... then he will be skinny.

I'm fully aware I owe one 'arse showing'... and it is firmly in my plans.
I just need to find a game where my daughter doesn't attend a game otherwise it could set a bad example.
Obi.. when you get your arse up..... I'll let you film it while I get my arse out..... fact.

<ok>

Good to be here fellow mackems and 'craa' opponents. Time to put the cat amongst the b&w pigeons.

What must it be like for supporters of other clubs that are linked to no-one this transfer window, nee bugger, zilch, nada..............diddly squat!!!!! Not even an unheard of unknown loan player. Squat.

Sully Muntari here at the SOL for a medical and to sign the contracts. Stephane Sessegnon chomping at the bit to get a Red & White shirt on and now 3 or 4 strikers mentioned as cover for our Ghanaian World Cup Star Forward? As a forward thinking and progressive football club in the top 6 of the EPL, there can now be absolutely no doubts as to who wears the trousers in the NE football household.

Sunderland AFC = top cats of the NE football scene.

Unquestionable FACT. Haway the Lads

PS - How can I post a profile picture lads.

Delusional disorder symptoms… <somersault>

I still stick to my original comment...

"Love the bloke, top fella and all round great manager. And that smile.........."

As for Saylor, all I said was I couldn't believe BRS...actually no, hands up he has been majestic. Still not convinced long term and I see he is crocked again!
