Is it though? If you don't score on a saturday and 2 teams sack their manager on tuesday, by the next weekend those 2 teams would have had 4 managers. Adding Leeds in, you are bound to get an extra sacking if you don't score for a couple of weeks.
My favourite similar statistic which I think is actually true: Birmingham City didn't win a match during the reign of a pope (John Paul I)
Is it really true about Araenal finishing 12th in 95 yet could have been relegated if one result was changed ??
Arsenal finished 12th on 51 points and 19th place Crystal Palace were relegated with 45 points. The game at Selhurst Park finished 3-0 to the Goons. Had they instead lost it 7-0, then they'd have gone down instead, with goal difference dividing them, Palace and Villa. Strange but true.
Maybe they should've sent the bottom three down, plus the Goons? Would've been a fair reflection of how they got promoted in the first place...
IMO this is actually a better squad than what Roy will pick: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...-Austin-Fraser-Forster-according-EA-data.html
It finally happened - a sportsman who literally couldn't score with a porn star: http://uproxx.com/sports/2014/11/lisa-ann-porn-star-twitter/
Eriksen showing how accurately he can place a ball and Danny Rose, er... not: Be nice if he could display such accuracy during a game at some point this season.
Alan Mullery is impressed with Ryan Mason, well that's good, if Mason is half as good as Mullery we will be happy.
Alan Mullery has a good life. He is a matchday host in hospitality at Spurs, Fulham and Brighton. Plenty of free dinners, so no wonder he has a 85 inch waist these days.
England v The All Blacks, mouth watering prospect. England can make the last 4 at the next rugby world cup and this match will be a good measure. Mind you they've only lost two in the last twenty eight but England ran them close a few months ago.
Mason's done really well, considering. I rated him as a youngster, but thought that the failed loans and his injuries had made him miss his chance. Glad to be proven wrong and I hope that he keeps improving all the time. It's nice to see a few of our youth players finally making an impact.
I was watching CANAL+SPORTS last night (a French language sports channel shown in Africa) and our own David Ginola was appearing as a pundit/presenter. To his credit he was the only one wearing a poppy.
