There is no replacing a truly world class player, both of our sides have discovered that. Having said that, both sides could, and should have spent their windfall far more wisely.
Done! I'm such a popular chap that it gets filled far too quickly. And it's not only people writing abuse that contact me! Sometimes, I get the odd friendly post.
It's growing (if you'll forgive the pun). [PS: I mean't, of course, to refer to the midget-transvestites-dressed-as-nuns community, not the transvestites-dressed-as-nuns community, and I apologize to anyone in either community who may have been offended by my faux pas)
By the way, on a less serious note, I see that Lawro rather forlornly, predicted that 'Pool would draw against the Chavs. The penny really hasn't dropped for him, yet, has it!
"Sometimes, I get the odd friendly post." Obviously from the more shy denizens wishing to show support for your tireless quest to keep this article WUM-free.
Been out all day today, and not seen the scores. How many did the mighty 'Pool trounce the lowly Palace by? Let me just check the FT scores on BBC Football... **** me! 'Pool throw away a 0-1 lead and get slaughtered 3-1... !!!!! Has Rodgers been sacked yet? I wonder if twats like Stevie Nichol, Hansen, and Lawro will still try to maintain the ****witted pretense that 'Pool would have finished anywhere near top 4 last season but for the fact that Goofy had the season of his career and was, effectively, 'Pool's one-man-band?
Over on the Mouser board, they're mooting the possibility and bringing back the Clown Prince, himself, Benitez! + What world do these people live in! I bet you anything you like, if you ask the average Mouser what lies at the end of a rainbow, he'll say "a pot of gold." Absolutely clueless, the lot of them.
I can remember the days when Chelsea were known as the Chelsea Pensioners....and played like it. Oh those good old days when dogs ran around the track.......
I tell you what! 66 mins into 'Pool v Stoke, and it's a nail-biting affair with both sides locked at 0-0. Lots of chances at either end, in what is turning out to be a fascinating clash between two lower mid-table sides.
So, 'Pool scrape a 1-0 win. Talks**te are saying that this win could "kick start" 'Pool's season. What? A lucky win against Stoke, at Klanfield! Really? What about when they get slaughtered against the first half-decent side they come against? Surely, any confidence gained by this win will be smashed by the realisation that 'Pool simple are not good enough. This game turned out to be exactly what it was - a hard-fought match between two mid-table sides. I really don't believe that anyone can read anything into this.
