Three strikes is probably sensible. Gives the offender a chance to argue a case as well. After all, one man's piss-take is another man's wumming.

Can`t say I have a hatred of anyone. If the conversation turns into a slanging match I leave it alone. Simple as that really. Don`t like to see good threads destroyed though. That`s my big objection.

Why don't you create a no holds barred, cross board thread where the arseholes from both sides can say and tag what they want and leave other threads alone?

Sounds good in principal, although the forum rules could be under threat..
Good idea, then if a thread is getting disrupted a mod can redirect them to that thread.
this is all bollocks we already have good mag posters here, the only ones banned are the scroats who only come to disrupt, keep the ****s banned, cos if they start me off ill be getting banned as ill not let it lie
How would that work? If a thread is going along nicely then the wums dive in what do the mods do? create a `branch` somehow and chuck them in there? Don`t understand. How would that keep them from still messing up the original if that`s the intention.

As a mod on the Toon board, I welcome the removal of all bans in the run up to the derby match. Anyone being completely stupid can get a new ban. But at least this gives everyone a chance to interact and enjoy some banter.

As a mod on the Toon board, I welcome the removal of all bans in the run up to the derby match. Anyone being completely stupid can get a new ban. But at least this gives everyone a chance to interact and enjoy some banter.

You'll need to work together to make it work like, you should get your heads together if you're not already.
I`ve got no objections to anybody joining in (I even allowed Terry in the APL ffs. How liberal is that?) but wrecking things on here will (imo) be irresistable. Can`t see it lasting long, but, at least they can`t say we`re being unfair.
