He's good for a laugh is Roy. How about this snippet: Roy Hodgson on the absence of Daniel Sturridge: "It was never a realistic possibility, he is obviously still recovering from the calf injury. I've left a message for Brendan and he has not rung back to counter that he is fit."
Let's face it, its a bloody poor squad. And im not having a go at Roy here, I'm 38 and the crop of available players over the last 6 months or so is undoubtedly the worst i have ever known.
How many minutes has Walcott played this season??? How can HE be in there???? Totally agree - it is a poor squad, but on the whole, I can't think of a huge amount of changes Woy could make
I'm getting a bit fed up with all the abuse Smalling gets on here. He's a talented young lad playing for a massive club. Of course he should be in the squad.
If the England squad was picked on performance, and not reputation... This is what it would look like: Forster Clyne -- Cahill -- Jagielka -- Baines Sterling -- Henderson -- Noble -- Downing Austin -- Berainho Wouldn't mind seeing that team actually... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...-Austin-Fraser-Forster-according-EA-data.html
What do you mean 'form'? Austin is not a good player - 3 weeks ago people were saying he was miles from being a PL player - and scoring a couple of goals doesnt change that. It reminds of when Marcus Stewart top scored, that didnt mean he was England class, it meant he was in a poor team where he scored all the goals. And he won the golden boot, I can't see Austin doing that in a million years.
Roy was probably thinking of Carrick or Huddlestone for the DM role hence his visit last week. He chose poorly
A bit off topic but would you guess who the fastest player in the premier league is this season? He's in that England squad. To anyone who saw it the other week, don't be a Scrooge. Let the uninformed peasants try and figure it out (they won't)
Aye but it was a flawed statistic imo. Anyways, ****ing Rickie Lambert? He hasn't even scored a goal this season.
Especially when you have Harry Kane who has scored a good few. Lambert plays for Liverpool though, almost an instant BYE into the England team.
The latest instalment of the Roy Hodgson hard on for **** players playing for Liverpool and Man U.......I know that pickings are slim but we will never improve under this clown
