Been away for a bit but love this thread.
funk still crying I see.
Top fella.<badger>

:D I'm on his suicide watch don't worry, I've made a call to the asylum in preparation. They have prepared the room. They have a special "Internet Meltdown" ward. I've got him the bed next to Smug.

:) as long as there's a window for Smug's strings to reach through things will be fine and dandy as he will be still in control as the puppet master he is.

Anyway... didn't they name the wing after Smug?

No Smug built it. Those arms like calves came in handy for all the heavy lifting.

WARNING

DEFCON 1 on the Arsenal board <laugh>

Was a slow burn, but they are winding up now <cheers>

I've already had a mail deleted by Piskie (presumably) telling them how disappointing it was that it didn't kick off last night, but they've slept on it and kicked off this morning.

Decent win for you boys last night.
Was Warnock beelin' about it afterwards?

Back to basics and it worked fella. Ofcourse he did.

Beel Warnock said:
“I think everybody knows it’s a penalty. The referee didn’t see it, but he’s in a great position.

“We need a bit of luck at the minute. The only chance we’ve got of a penalty is somebody picking the ball up and throwing it at the referee – that’s about the only chance we’ve got.

“It’s so disappointing when you play so well. How we’ve lost that game, I’ll never, ever know.

“Even the second one with Wilfried, it might be on the edge of the box but they give a goal kick. It bewilders me.

“But I thought we were superb tonight. They couldn’t have given any more, the lads. They were brilliant tonight.

“We need to try and make our own luck. We go to Old Trafford on Saturday, we won’t get many decisions there either. It’s difficult. It’s a hard place to go and we need to stand up and be counted.

“On another night, decisions change games, major decisions. In the last couple of weeks we’ve had major decisions go against us. It does feel cruel.

“I said to the fourth official, ‘How does it feel after the game when you see you’ve made a mistake?’ He said it hurts, so they’ll be one or two people hurting tonight – but none more than my team.”

Yeah it was a penalty but the ref was in a dreadful position to see it, well he didn't see it at all, but the ref was all round ****e as Dowd usually is. Palace were ****ing rubbish, we weren't very good either but considering these fantastic quick lightening wingers of theirs couldn't get the better with a slow out of position CB and a slow out of position 35 year old fullback who'd never kicked a ball in the league and hadn't played for 6 months, I think that proves my point. They had one shot on goal. Rubbish mate. Just Warnock ranting without think as per. :p

Rather disappointed with the Arsenal board having seen the above comments. they seem more relaxed than normal, never mind after a defeat!

Yes it started to melt, then they backed off disappointingly. I think there were a lot of deletions though.

Being a mod and being able to see the deleted posts in the morning can be so entertaining. But yeah compared to the usual it was rather tame (maybe because most already accepted we'd come 2nd in the group beforehand), especially considering people were still pissed off after our 3-0 win on Saturday.
