As Burnsy's just said - every game that they've scored in first, they've won. However, streaks do end, why can't City be the team to end this? My super 6 score is still possible (2-1 City win).
Streaks end of course. ive never seen a goalie with such bad luck. Of course it's hhis fault but it must ridiculously bad lucky to continuously make the bad mistakes at the same club . Who the **** scouted him?
It's a manager's jinx I reckon. Every single time a manager says "He's bided his time, and now he's earnt being in the team" he makes a clanger the very next game.
I sense the pendulum is now swinging back in Southampton's favour... Hopefully we don't concede another before half-time...
So far, for the most part, a pretty decent display. What this game has shown us is that we lack the same cutting edge as the better teams in the division, Southampton included. Also that Diame is a little lackadaisical at times and can get caught on the ball. McShane plays football like a schoolboy. He goes running off up the pitch, gets a rush of blood to the head and ends up conceding possession with a daft pass.
Hindsight I know but why the **** didn't we go for an emergency loan? The majority of us knew that Jakupovic wasn't PL quality so I'm certain that SB did too!
McGregor and Harper will be fit after the international break, we won't see Sean Johnson in a City shirt
People tend to complain if the away support is quiet! Tactical game this - both sides defending very well. Tadic looks knackered and isn't quite himself today. I suspect we'll see Mané come on second half for our lot. Ben Arfa has it in him to cause us problems. Going to be a bit of a twitcher second half I think.
Macca's had a good game, Diamé has lot the ball a couple of times but stilll powers past opponents Sometimes our midfielders need to get in the box and support Abel since he's getting frustrated They have a solid defence we haven't created anything of note yet
