*Scratches head* - is it not possible to celebrate a win whilst also looking at areas we can improve, without getting into childish scraps? We can do both, no?

No, we can't. I got bored enough to give this forum a second chance, but **** it. Not worth it. If the resident mindless cretins just want a "we're so great and everything is perfect" circlejerk with no constructive comments allowed then let them have it. This website has been going one way for a long time and there's no reviving it. The most entertaining poster here is a Portsmouth fan.

Great result and a giod draw as well! ****ing buzzing, if we beat the blades then I wonder how many will change their tune about this competition <whistle>

Que sera sera...

Please come back when Pelle gets his 10th goal :)

You just miss your love interest. Now Dan's not here, your heart's just not in it anymore <whistle>

In fairness Joe, I think most of the people here are fine with the idea that you can be delighted with the progress, whilst also mentioning areas of concern (although concern does seem too strong a word in some senses).

Mouthing.

According to Solent, Jose was asking for protection for Matt Targett, as Captain he should be allowed to do that, but maybe he stepped over the mark this time. Pelle got a yellow for overdoing the Celebrations! No surprise there.........

I've had my Dan fix today. :emoticon-0152-heart

Sure, but it only takes a vocal minority to jump on you (or perhaps even ban you) every time you express it.

I was thinking along the lines that I would actually like to see the footage before I made remarks about performances, I wasn't there and can only go by the excellent commentating on Radio Solent, but they tend to be a bit Saints biased. I am happy to discuss the pros and cons and don't expect anyone to agree with my point of view every time. Just starting on BBC One. Citeh v Toon first.

It's fine SD - I was quite surprised you took that approach, but then realised that the above was what you meant. My comment wasn't about Forster in this particular game, more that amongst all this fantastic football, he remains my only slight lingering concern at the moment (and of course, I could be absolutely wrong).

It's a shame that after a WIN TO PROGRESS TO THE QUARTER FINALS OF THE LEAGUE CUP people are still bickering (Joe has a very valid point as well). We're 2nd in the league for ****s sake. If we all can't get along now when the **** can we?

Your opinion is we should talk about how we can improve etc, Saintdons is we should enjoy the game and let the mistakes go. Both of you are right to voice your opinions. But neither should be shouted down.
