So Arsenal have achieved something every season for the last 17 then?

As that's odd, as I thought you lot took the piss out of their "4th place trophy" every year.......how strange........

We joke when it's their ONLY ambition and they are happy to just make up the numbers

Haha Moyes is a sh*t manager who has a level - mid table mediocrity. He was found out at Man United and his personality is on par with Hodgson i.e. small club mentality, survival

Doing it once in 11 years on a budget of magic beans and a Curly Wurly was a ****ing miracle..........

TBF, I think Tobes as got a point here. Moyes did very well to get a team as **** and small as Everton into Europe at all. He even got fourth before tripping up prior to the first hurdle :)

He conned Everton fans into thinking that 7th/8th was all they could get when it so obviously wasn't as RM has shown, accruing more points in his first year than Moyes ever managed - must be all that extra money eh?

RM as had cash to spend though, Moyes was never given £28m to spend on one player (to stand still <whistle>)

Moyes' football was **** too

11 years wasted

Yeah of course he did, despite finishing 6th or better in 5 out of his 10 full seasons <doh>

If you want to discuss how budget equates to league position, then crack on, as you lot have been bleating about "dem oil clubz" for years, with you lads of course being paupers at the Master table in that regard..............lol.

As the simple facts are that Moyes consistently out performed his budget (wages and fees) for a decade.

As for RM, he took over a solid side and added goals to it and incase you haven't noticed the £28m striker he bought in on loan last season, has subsequently been signed. Moyes must have wanted to butt the wall when he saw that deal complete, as it was the area of the side he was never able to get right, as its a position that you need to spend £20m+ to buy a proven PL striker, and it was always his biggest frustration at Everton, as we could never even dream of buying one...............until the new TV deal. Extra money? no, of course not..........None of that should take away from waht Martinez achieved last season mind.

Tbf to both Moyes and Martinez, they have built Everton into a club that is capable of beating any team in the prem on their day Tobes.... except I have to say Liverpool. Until you get that monkey off your back and start making those fixtures a 50/50 either way, Martinez hasn't moved Everton forward enough imo.

TBF that issue predates both of them <doh> We've always made a meal of those fixtures, particularly at the pit.

Everton that.......

My memory is letting me down a little here; was Duncan Ferguson pre-Moyes...? I'm guessing he was. We always seemed to struggle against Everton then. Kevin Campbell always played well against us too.

Dunc was signed by Mike Walker <yikes>.

We did OK against you under Big Joe, but even in the glory years you had the hoodoo over us.
