What will Liverpool win in the 2014-15 season...?

  1. Premier League

  2. Champions League

  3. FA Cup

  4. League Cup

  5. As much as Everton and Spurs!

I take it you feel disappointed about last season then, considering Liverpool had zero success?

Going to the final day of the season challenging for the title means something for people who aren't #neutral <ok>

Actually qualifying for the CL instead of being nailed on for 5th or 6th also means something too <ok>

He'll also win more trophies in 11 years <ok>

I imagine being taken from relegation contenders to playing regular European football barely spending a penny means something to some people too.

For all the arguments about where Liverpool are, where Arsenal are and where United are in the league, you have to ask how much is down to how bad the other two are playing.

There will come a time when those other teams won't be playing badly. Which of the 3 will that be? (Trying not to be bias) I honestly believe the least likely to kick on will be Liverpool. Only because while United and Arsenal may have been inconsistent, at least they have demonstrated plenty of good with the bad. Whereas with Liverpool they just appear to be consistently poor. The situation was the opposite last season by the way.

    What 'twist'?

He said zero success i.e. no trophies won. i.e. the same as Rodgers (only minus the budget)

  9. Could you say any of the three have played well yet? Therefore all three could well (and should) improve. We all know Arsenal are capable of being better than they've shown so far. Man Utd have somes fantastic players and a highly respected manager so common sense would say they will get better. Liverpool have been playing poor but showed against Spurs that they can play like last season still and are massively missing Sturridge so can get better upon his return.

One of those teams as had a easier opening fixture list than the others but that team is also only playing part-time football this year too though.

Who did that? Everton were 14, 13, 16th before Moyes. Afterwards they were 15, 7, 17th

By "regular" European football you mean 40% of the seasons and only once past the first knockout round?

  12. Who said (at the time of your comment) that Rodgers had been successful? Your statement if you will...

You then said "As opposed to all those trophies Rodgers has landed..................oh wait" after Astro pointed out that Moyes hadn't been successful when it comes to trophies. It doesn't matter what was said afterwards, you perform your infamous twist <laugh>

I didn't say trophies, qualifying for the CL is a legitimate target. Coming 5th is not.

LOL at the fact that you omit to mention that the season following the 17th finish, and having sold the best young English player in a generation during that summer, we went on to finish 4th the following season....................

So 4th means something or not?

And is doing it once in 11 years better or worse than once in 2 years?

So Arsenal have achieved something every season for the last 17 then?

As that's odd, as I thought you lot took the piss out of their "4th place trophy" every year.......how strange........
