Which is a bit like saying Everton would be restoring Merseyside's pride in the FA cup by gaining a draw at Fleetwood the day after Liverpool were knocked out by City.

Does remind me though of a few years back when we were inundated on social media by B/s after being hosed 3-6 at home in the LC by Arsenal - two days after Everton themselves quietly slipped out of the FA cup after a 1-4 home defeat by Blackburn. No way, whatever Balotelli's faults, Eto'o is truly vile and I was about ready to stop following LFC for a season (he only has 1 left in him) when he was linked to us

I believe there was one Liverpool poster that said we'd be better off with Eto'o rather than Balotelli #allaboutgreez
A completely unsubstantiated rumour is that Rodgers binned the Remy transfer, blaming a failed medical, when he heard Balotelli was available. Remy is currently injured which would mean Rodgers would be forced to play Lambert. Balotelli is currently fit and ready for action.
