Everton successfully anti-football themselves to the point they needed

Anti Football?

We were playing with 3 Strikers at the end, you massive helmet <laugh>

Top of the toughest group in the competition.

EFC unbeaten and restoring Merseyside's pride in Europe after the embarrassment of yesterday <ok>

In a word - crap

Not showed much at all, not played much in fairness, but hardly taken his chance when he has

For Ghana he played wide but always cut in for a shot, at Everton you like to play width so it will take to adjust I guess.

I think he needs a run of games, but barring an injury that ain't gonna happen

Which is a bit like saying Everton would be restoring Merseyside's pride in the FA cup by gaining a draw at Fleetwood the day after Liverpool were knocked out by City.

Or rather, lost a first leg against City. And City were later thrown out of the competition and we had to play someone else with our destiny in our own hands. :bandit:

Does remind me though of a few years back when we were inundated on social media by B/s after being hosed 3-6 at home in the LC by Arsenal - two days after Everton themselves quietly slipped out of the FA cup after a 1-4 home defeat by Blackburn. McNulty had a field day then too. No shame, no sense of irony either.

That centre half for Lille, Kjaer (Spelling?) Looked good v Everton tonight

He was good. Their defence was the best in France last season and statistically amongst the top 5 in Europe according to the commentary

yeah.... but it was only everton <ok>

I hated the thought of us getting Eto'o but now im starting to think he was best of a bad pair <grr> Saving my onslaught for Balotelli until he is played with Sturridge though

Ive heard of him before and think he has even been linked with us on some bulls**t website. He's been linked with a few clubs I think. Doubt he'd
join us now though with Agger probably whispering bad things in his ear about BR

No way, whatever Balotelli's faults, Eto'o is truly vile and I was about ready to stop following LFC for a season (he only has 1 left in him) when he was linked to us

I believe there was one Liverpool poster that said we'd be better off with Eto'o rather than Balotelli #allaboutgreez

A completely unsubstantiated rumour is that Rodgers binned the Remy transfer, blaming a failed medical, when he heard Balotelli was available. Remy is currently injured which would mean Rodgers would be forced to play Lambert. Balotelli is currently fit and ready for action.
