If you bothered following this thread or any thread properly, you would know that our favourite poster monks hero's has been blaming Bony at every single opportunity.
Bony is pure quality , when the team starts getting its **** together , Bonys goals will come ..Bomy is the "" New Scotland"" to dai..
How can anyone agree with Stumpy's post when he states "No one is scapegoating Bony."? Come on! We all know that's not true, unless you happen to have Daiswan on ignore. The other points he makes are valid imo.
Agree with a lot of Stumpy's post too. I like the way we're playing, don't agree we've lost our 'identity' & at times our football, is as good as it's ever been!! It's frustrating we're not finishing teams off in the 1st half, as it gives that side the half-time 'rollicking' off their gaffer, to get them up & at us in the 2nd!! That's been the main issue for me, not our 'dropping-off' 2nd half, it's trying to deal with teams who have had the 'hairdrier' thrown at them half-time!!! Need to start converting these chances & hopefully we're going to give someone a good beating!! Be so chuffed for Monk & the team when it happens, our football deserves it... Also personally, don't really see this lack of fitness issues... C'mon the mighty Swans!!
Another issue, about time our players got some protection from the refs. We've really been through the mill with these feckers..
I'm fed up with teams rotating their foulers especially around the half way line where refs rarely give yellow cars. Something that happens in rugby that would help is the totting up of fouls. After so many infringements the next player to commit a similar infringement gets the yellow card even if he didn't commit all the stoppages. When we played Sunderland (by no means the only team to do this) there was a clear foul rota; once one player had been warned by the ref another took over blocking, fouling and holding up your players. Totting up infringements would see a team warning and the next player committing a foul would be booked.
Have to agree with you Musty 3 more games without a win and we will be in the bottom 8 , Monk as not got a clue as to when to make a change he seems to leave it to late when the game is lost Emnis should have been on a lot sooner on sat. We should have scored at least 2 more in the 1st half. Ive got a feeling we will lose on sat to Leicester and what will happen then, And what was Moyes doing in the crowed was he on a spying trip or do you think he as already been asked if he would like the job as you all say he as worked with low a budget so that would not be a problem for him as it stands we are slipping down the league and we could be in bottom 3 by xmas unless we do something fast.
If we'd taken our chances alone, in at least the last 2 games against Toon & Stoke, we'd be 4th on 16 points. Is that Monk's fault...
Beat Leicester and we will end up with 14 points from our first 9 games thus giving us our best PL start ever.
There is a few on here who everyone with a brain can work out who they are are definitely monk haters and look for any problem they can to put the blame on him. they blindly ignore the positives which are many. They cannot understand that our one and only problem has been the poor finishing by everyone especially Bony as he is monks chosen main striker. If Bony and co had scored just half of the missed chances some of which were embarrassing misses we would be in the top 4......so what are the other problems we have ???? The football is good as we are creating more chances than we have ever done in the last few seasons but are not converting them into goals....So who is to blame for that ?? answers on a postcard...send to: Gary Monk, Liberty stadium, Swansea. and tell him what he is doing wrong..
I know you've been asked this repeatedly Daiswan and failed to answer, but we live in hope. What "embarrassing misses" has Bony been guilty of? I fully agree that Monk can't be blamed for players failing to put chances away but in fact it was Siggy and Ki (twice) who failed to do so on Sunday, not Bony who seems to be at the heart of everything good we're doing up front. Seems to me any chances he's getting he has to make for himself. Try and debate and provide an answer this time instead of belittling the 'Monk haters'
If's and but's .... don't count for s**t. We didn't earn those points, we lost them. We are not going to send away anymore players .... there are only two Spaniards left, we need Amat for cover or to put competitive pressure on Williams and Fed and Rangel is almost like furniture (he' not going anywhere). So that leaves ............ it's a tough one, let me think for a minute .................... the manager. Who despite rose tinted spectacles seems to keep making the same mistakes over and over again ..... and boys and girls our fitness czar is putting a team on the field that run's out of steam in the second half. I don't understand how that last part can happen, but it does. It's not one bad day, one bad half, it's game after game and the streak has now become a habit that leaves us all wondering at half time what the next half will bring. Calling it like it is, is not hating anybody, it's just calling it like it is.
so you think i am going to go through every game we have played and count all the possible chances we have had on goal and never took. If you watched the matches then unless you are blind then you could not have missed them also plenty of posters have mentioned them on here in every game... so grow up and do your own research like some of us have done and dont expect me or others to do it for you...
In other words you can't answer a perfectly reasonabe question. You make the assertion, so back it up. Not too much to ask. We keep getting told "it's only 8 games in" so it shouldn't be too hard for you really. In accordance with your response I'd answer it myself but despite actually going to most of those games (unlike your good self) I really don't remember too many 'embarrassing misses' by Bony. There was one that came to him quickly from a Montero cross that he ballooned over (Burnley I think) but that's it, and I wouldn't even class that as 'embarrassing'. He may have missed a few chances along the way but all strikers do, even the best. Really can't think of any sitters, can you? Help me out here.
I missed it DB thanks for pointing it out to me. Does Dai watch any games at all? He can't do. Maybe he can see but has forgotten how to look
