Don't watch it, is the simple answer.
Especially if you know you are going to hate it.....why would you watch it?

It's not the game it's the sychophantic ****fest that will precede it.

I'm looking forward to seeing the match, but all the talk of 'dem famous European nights' beforehand, with references to Istanbul every 5 minutes and Sourness, Redknapp and Co fapping themselves into a frenzy over Stevie Me's last stand.

I won't turn it on until 7.45 on the dot.

I dont doubt it will be cringworthy.
My query to Matth was, if you find it so annoying, do what I will do and dont watch it. To which he said he wouldnt, to which I replied, then Why the **** are you moaning about it then?

Its just idiots trying to inject some passion and nostalgia in to what will undoubtedly be a normal game of football.

I'll probably be turning it off at 7.50 :D

Those famous european nights at anfield.

Cant say i remember any of them tbh. Their famous wins happened at neutral venues i would think.

Turns out Madrid's tea lady once used to live next door to someone who was Djemba Djemba's dog walker's nan. Therefore as there is a link back to United, however tenuous, Matth now watches all Madrid games.

After Ronaldo scored the opener I bet Matth's living room resembled a Jackson Pollock painting.
