BR and Gerrard both praised QPR and said they didnt get what they deserved

Can you provide a link that shows BR saying the mark of champions?

I never said either were disrespectful towards QPR, but the way Rodgers spun it (and now I see countless Liverpool fans repeating) is that it was some achievement to play badly and win. It was QPR fgs! The last bit was a bit of poetic license on my part lol. He didn't say it, but he made it sound like it was a great achievement hence my added comment <whistle>

"Rodgers said: "QPR certainly did not deserve to lose. We were lucky to win, but we showed tremendous character"

Not sure where the character was. Was it when 33 year old Zamora ran rings around your defence? Or when Balotelli had half your shots and missed all of them?

Ah wait, I know. The tremendous character was shown when QPR put through their own net twice and gifted you some points <ok>

He's got to say certain things as our manager. He said we played badly but we have to pick up points, again stating the obv. He also said why we are laying badly its good we have 6 out of 6 point past 2 games, again nothing wrong with that!

As for us saying it have you been to our board, not one of us is execting to win the title mate. We're all saying how ****e we've been!

I know that mate, but many are saying it was an achievement to play badly and get the 3 points. If it was against Southampton, Hull, West Ham, Swansea I could understand, but QPR! You should be smashing them. Fair play to Sterling bcos without him, you lot look like us without Januzaj last season.

Not sure that rings true this season mate!

We will look a different outfit when Studge is back as long as these injuries havent ruined him

P.S we just needed the 3 points so confidence didnt take another hit, I for one happily take the points

Also QPR fans on our matchthread have been saying they have played decent at home. Also I just dont hink there are any walkover away fixtures + home fixtures to some extent. Certainly not for us based on performances so far

Many of us were just relieved to get to the points from what I can gather

There are absolutely no excuses for City's continued failure in Europe with the squad they have. None.

Costa out makes the chelsea game a little more interesting dont you think. Especially as it seems remy might be out too. Leaves them thin up top so mourinho might return to type and go ultra defensive (routemaster to be technical). Their midfield is pretty good still. Fabregas might play the classic false 9 role. I for one hope he emulates torres in that role.

There's nothing wrong with Costa and he will play on Sunday. Mourinho knew he could beat Palace and Maribor without Costa so gave him a week off. All the crap about Costa being injured playing for Spain is just Mourinho having a hissy about the Spain manager not agreeing to rest Costa to help Chelsea out. Mourinho is loathed in Spain, even by the Real fans, and he loves to carry a grudge around with him!

You really think Costa wont play?......<laugh>
