Some sympathy, but they can be difficult if your face doesn't fit. They don't give anyone a chance unless they "understand the Newcastle way" whatever that is. Outsiders like of Ashley and Pardew were always going to be hated. For that reason, my sympathy for them drains away. I wish they put Shearer in charge, I really do. The fans believe that just because he "understands Newcastle" he will be a success. Put him in charge and watch them get relegated.
Maybe I am the jinx Treble. my two favourite areas for work are Newcastle and Portsmouth, both of which are having a horrendous time in football. Hard to differentiate as to which has the most freindly people, but if I had to decide it would be the north East by a very slight margin
Fair enough mate, I don't dislike the club and wish them well. My dad's from Newcastle so it's nothing against the people there either. Just the things I hear from toon fans sometimes does my head in.
And good luck to them. But its a long long way back to success. I just hope for the genuine Pompey supporters that the "fans" ownership doesn't turn into an ego trip for the main ones involved.

Aguero is ridiculously brilliant. Best striker around at the minute (I don't count Ronaldo or Messi as strikers!). If Falcao turns out to be as good as him I'll be very happy.
Yeh Aguero is absolute class. I reckon Costa will rise to his standards. Also reckon if Arsenal had either, they wouldn't be struggling.
