If he's been watching the defence that would be sitting in front of him, can't say I blame him.....
Maybe he should be watching the keeper who makes that defence a tad nervous! He'd know he'd get straight into the team!!

It would make sense since we originally wanted Mario on loan (I wasn't against that since it would be temporary) but Milan wasn't interested in that arrangement. No wonder they preferred the sale
We won't get £16m for him though. I predict something around £10m-£12m so long as we can find some sucker willing to by the Balotelli name!

According to my Marseille-supporting colleague:
- box-to-box midfielder, but plays well on the left-wing
- huge work-rate and good defensively
- dribbles pretty well but holds onto the ball a bit too much
- crossing is average, so tends to run into the box rather than cross
- great at heading, with decent timing
- fairly good at long shots
- average first touch
- decent spirit, regular in his performances, rarely injured
- One of his favourite players for the last four years.
So overall, pretty decent, if not flawless. He's a free agent in the summer and Marseille need money, so it could be a reasonable price (although we don't tend to do reasonable prices anymore).

the 16mil is in the past but the wasted season isn't... but its nice that we can waste the opportunity safe in the knowledge another will be along shortly.

We've bought him now so no point in banging on about we shouldn't have signed him (yes, yes. I know I've been doing it too
). The sooner we either find a way to use and motivate him or ship him out the better
