Spurs got made to show what they really were last season, once they sold Bale. It's the same with Liverpool now with Suarez.
When you're talking world class players, one player really can make a team. Once they're gone, it doesn't matter what you do with the money you get for them.
Even when we met Liverpool, with them having a fit Sturridge and us not yet having Toby and Mane, we no doubt would have beaten them had JWP/Davis scored and then Morgan/Long.
Except when you are Saints
Point is not valid for saints as we were a good team last year. Our team got us to the level it did together. Liverpool and spurs were elevated beyond their true level by one player
