He was being grilled one particular match by the old 606ers and then went onto score a 30 yard screamer, I had to laugh. He was a good player who I think didn't get a real chance.
They don't tolerate indiscipline in RL. Look at the size of the bloke. He could do serious damage. There is zero tolerance of that kind of behaviour - not to mention the fact that it cost Wigan the Grand Final, so I can't think anyone at the club was very forgiving either.

Indiscipline is not tolerated in RFU either. The game is physical enough without idiots like Flower trying to take it back 40-50 yrs. The ban in RFU would have been at least equivalent, if not harsher.
