Can't be arsed to read all that tbh. I'll just take it that you disagree.
Scousers in the 70's and 80's used to be a great bunch of fans. You lot are a pale imitation of your forefathers. Arrogant tossers.

Oh the irony....Laughable some of the comments on here! It's Hodgsons fault is it? Is it s**te. It's Sterlings fault for being a lazy, unprofessional, unpatriotic t**t. I wouldnt play the idle sod again.
It's never liverpools fault. Always some half arsed excuse with you lot.
Raymond Verheijen - well renowned fitness coach has completely slated Roy and other like minded English coaches. He gives a proper explanation as to why players like Raheem require 2-3 days rest.
But you shouldn't engage with the WUMS - rival fans will just side with Roy for the fun of it.
My own view is that Hodgson should not have made Sterling's request not to be selected public. Hodgson could have just benched him easily and then like he did brought him on for 30 minutes. No big deal. No one would have even batted an eyelid. there was no need to inform the press.
It appears that there was no such request. Just a 'i'm not feeling 100% boss' type of convo......Agree that anything like this should be kept private. It's pretty much obvious to everyone inside and outside of football except for Roy. I wonder why?

The kopite baloney bandwagon rolls on....
How can you have 2-3 days rest when the International schedule is for games on a Thurs / Sunday? or Fri / Mon like last time?
They had to have a training session on the 2nd day otherwise they'd have been going into the 2nd game without having done a stitch on the training ground post the first game.
I assume when you lot have a CL game on a Tues after a PL game on the Sat, that Rodgers doesn't have his 'quick players' doing anything between games then???? Absolute horse s**t

Is proving that they're imbeciles engaging with them? There's very little comeback from them......
Fair enough but obviously that's bollocks and it's the kind of comment that stinks of club bias.
You don't score that many goals for England by being ****e. There is this expectation that if Rooney doesn't put in a Ronaldoesque performance then he has automatically had a bad game. He's not turned into the world class player that some thought he might become but he's still managed to score goals for England when other supposedly quality players have struggled to make an impact on the international scene.
At least when he was 18/19 he wasn't too tired to play for England.![]()

You "prove" sod all mate. Only your biased opinion.

I've proved that you're a thick twat.![]()
Well, I can't compete with that! Must be an example of that hilarious Scouse wit you're famed for.

I was being sincere. No wit at all there fella. Looks like the wheel's spinning but the hamsters dead with you![]()

Oh come on, Tobes. It was a dire performance given the supposed gulf of quality between the two teams.I don't agree on either point fella.
Firstly, Woy didn't need to deflect anything away from the game, as they won ffs. Despite their ranking that wasn't an easy fixture as Holland found out last year when a late goal salvaged them a point in WC qualifying. England came away with 3 and that's all that matters. But post match all the talk has been about Sterling not the 3 points.
As for his comments, they were deliberately barbed. In my opinion Sterling was operating under instruction from Rodgers and Woy was simply making it plain that the decision not to play him wasn't his, it was the players.....so draw your own conclsuions as to why chaps - that was why he put the lad on the spot, as he knew he was being played.

Of course he needs to deflect from his own inadequacies, they have been evident for a long time, and he's fully aware of the rising dissatisfaction with his tenure. England are winning, but look at the quality of the opposition, the Swiss apart, and more importantly, look at the level of performance.
Incidentally, you know the football world has been turned on its head when we're underdogs to Switzerland.
We were crap in the WC and still are- any decent opposition is going to highlight that clearly.
Anyway, despite the efforts of the anti-LFC visitors to this board, this is not about Sterling and Rodgers - it's about Hodgson. It's about his tactics on and off the pitch, and his relationship with his players, media and clubs.
England's current players are never going to be good enough to win a serious competition, but they should certainly be good enough to knock seven bells out of the likes of Estonia. The reason they don't is entirely down to the management, and not because one admittedly talented individual throws a sicky.
So, as I said earlier, I look forward to seeing all those currently exonerating Woy because it's a convenient way to have yet another go at Liverpool, affording him the same leniency in future when it's their turn to be shafted.
Do you sincerely expect to be taken seriously, when you start off with something like this?:
