    Wow.

I can't believe how hard we're making it. No offence to Estonia, but we really should be beating these quite comfortably.

Roy just isn't the man for the job. Scraping a win against a Baltic minnow doesn't fill me with confidence.

They've been so wasteful - it could/should have been a Brazil score.

The friendly against Scotland in November could be tasty.

Shockingly poor performance again, unable to finish so many chances.

We are making hard work playing poor sides.

Top of the group yes, any confidence in what I've seen so far no

At this rate if we qualify we'll be out of the 1st group stage of a tournament AGAIN

    Not the best but.....

    3 points is 3 points.

Who'll remember this game when we're in France.

It's given the diamond another 90 minutes to bed in.

Wilshere's looked tidy. Made the odd error but looked tidy.

Rooney has played a skippers game. Not his best but he's won it for us.

Roy won't be too worried. It's coming together.

**** no. I'm turning into Andy Townsend.

I think people are just determined to be negative about England.

Might have something to do with how poor we look and have looked for the past few years.

    Just a suggestion.

Beside's, a win is a win or its 3 points on the board, give us all the positive's then. I know expectations of England are high often too high, but we really should be doing better than this performance surely.

Good point for Russia at home to mighty Moldova.

Febbos will be happy at that.

Woy's just said we played well in the first half but didn't take our chances - and for once he's right!

The second half was very fragmented, though. Messy.

Played 3, won 3, conceded 0. Best winning run in 5 years. What more can you want?

Would anyone on here complain if City went on that kind of run? Why is the bar so much higher for England?

The issue with constantly saying ****e performances are 'good results' is people start believing ****e performances are acceptable. #england

    Sums it up for me.

    Stop papering over the cracks.

    1) The fact that this is the best winning run England have had in 5 years is shocking.

    2) We've played Estonia and San Marino in 2 of those games for Christ's sake. Switzerland aren't all that amazing either.

    3) You ignored the actual point I made - we may have been winning, but we look ****ing atrocious. If we played one of the big teams at the moment, we'd be smashed. The fact you are accepting ****e performances is bad. We shouldn't accept bad performances no matter the score.

The bar might be higher for England because they are meant to be our best players for crying out loud.
