My Gran used to hate the French - went to church every day till she died, used to go and visit people eevn older tahn her with tehir shopping etc yet would tell you to "turn that foeign muck off" if ever Manhattan Transfer came on the radio.
My other gran was the same, old she hated nationalists. It all stemmed from her da getting a bad kicking from 3 of them when she was a teenager.
