PENALTY TO LIVERPOOL - West Ham 0-0 Liverpool
Like one of Liverpool's penalties at Old Trafford. Luis Suarez lifts the ball up and it hits the hand of James Tomkins. Penalty.

Hits?! Pretty sure hit hand hit the ball, not the other way round <doh>

#bbcsalford finally let go. It's too late though, Chelsea's win yesterday meant Man Utd could only catch Chelsea if they lost all their games. But that would mean losing one to us, and then Man Utd couldn't catch us too.

BBC news just now. "Keeper clearly got the ball" referring to 2nd pen. I guess they forgot to see the keeper then grabbing hold of Flanno's leg afterwards.
Soft pen maybe, but it stopped Flanno from getting the ball.

    BBC slanting the view against.

Ceefax mentions Carroll hitting the bar, but doesn't say anything about Suarez doing likewise twice.

If you complain about a bbc sport's issue it goes to the head of their sports department who is also based in Salford and is well aware of his/her department's policies regarding football, the manc nepotism from top to bottom is rife and any complaints they receive are probably read out and laughed at over their Eccles cakes and coffee at breaktime every morning.

It's not just the Sports Dept. Whenever has a complaint to the Beeb not been met with the following:

"Thank you for your comments. We have investigated the situation and find that we were right/unbiased/within our legal rights (delete as appropriate) and therefore intend to take no further action."

McNulty supports Liverpool Football Club (as Phil Thompson would say).

    that is rather pointless.

harry redknapp's disaster get no reporting.. he'll soon be for sack but david brent is put in with pardickhead... that says it all... i say stop looking at thier site lads. there are far better out there and bbc sport shoudl be purged due to low numbers

Half the bbc are former liverpool players. Its what makes this thread that little more hilarious.
