Unfortunately the fans ARE divided, very obviously on social media and now within the stadium. The longer the problem persists the worse it will get. A few months ago most people weren't bothered as they thought it would all be over by now. Now opinions are more polarised. A certain someone just won't let it lie and fans turning on each other in the stadium is the result.
Good on you, mate. I got glared at the last time I was in the West Stand because me and my dad had the audacity to sing.
We do stay until the end..... You lose nothing by staying until the end, if a 50 need to leave for work purposes fair enough but not the amount that actually leave early. On the subject of Boo's i didn't hear a single one and i sit in the west stand so must have been quite localised to specific part of the west stand.
I sit in the middle of the west stand. Didnt hear any booing, in fact really good atmosphere. Edge of your seat stuff to get the result
I cried actually cried at the booing. Has it come to this, really has it. I feel like walking away, every day I become lees and less attached to the club. Please please Amber nectar and ctwd release a statement and a condescending TWTWT to help this situation. We need you now more than ever.....
So some hard of thinking types are blaming Dr Allam for the North stand thinking they're better fans than the West? Only boos I heard were at Campbell, who was a bellend today if you ask me. I half expected to see OLM launch himself at him with a pie. Be strong Chazz, we can always rely on the super fans to look after us mere mortals.
I sit in the middle also, and the only booing I heard was for Campbell which was well deserved the ****er.
Aye, that's what I heard. Which is a point of view I totally agree with. Except, why direct it at the west stand when people around you in the north are doing exactly the same.
There was a bit of a boo after west stand give us a song . I left on 90 mins as I had to walk from North stand to far side of south stand car park for coach back to Filey and my legs rather knackered at the moment . I never do it when I go on train or when I get a lift in car i always stay to the end
Thats fair enough mate but this and the Man City game its been like curtain going down at pictures on 86/87 minutes literally hundreds getting up and going.
I didn't hear any booing at 19:04 unlike last week. There was some half-hearted booing after "West Stand give us a song" but that was more muted than last week. There was a few jeers when people walked out before the end, but no singing of "we stay till the end", that I heard, unlike last week.
City Till I Die was very loud in the north stand. Didn't hear any booing of the west near me but it is disappointing if that did happen. On another note, did anyone see Palace's daft lads pushing each other around over the seats? ****ing clowns.
CTWD at 19:04 was very loud. After 'west stand give us a song' there was some booing, whether it was directed at west stand or something, somebody else, I couldn't say. I left 10 mins early, but only cause i had my young lad with me, this is the first time I have ever left early.....would I leave again early again, yes until young un is bit older, he did well getting to 80 mins tbf.
I honestly think your making that up. The atmosphere at the game today was really good and I am in East Stand and never heard any booing from anywhere in the ground except for Campbell.
Gotta say was in west stand and never heard boos other then those for campbell, and was sar close to north stand
exactly ; see this -> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Splitting_(psychology) " ... Splitting diffuses the anxiety that arises from one's inability to grasp the nuances and complexities of a given situation or state of affairs by simplifying and schematizing the situation and thereby making it easier to think about. It relieves the person of having to confront the uncertainty engendered by the fact that people have both bad and good qualities. It also reinforces one's sense of self as good and virtuous by effectively demonizing all those who do not share in one's opinions and values ..."
I thought the atmosphere today was brilliant. I didn't hear any booing, but for those of us in the West Stand trying to get anything going(and there are some), some of the chants are not helpful.
